3:54 its your return home line at the end of the code. Probably looks something like:
G91 G00 G53 Z0 (z-axis home)
G91 G00 G53 X0 Y0 (X-axis, Y-axis home)
its returning the x and y to the origin of the machine table. It might be something that your program adds into the end of the tool paths by default. As apart of your future setup you need to take into account the home return points and your tool clearance (Z). It also returned home dangerously I might add as the spindle wasn't sent the command to turn off in the lines prior to those ones. (M05)
On routing tables, if there isn't enough clearance between your tool head (tip) and the part when it returns home it will crash like that. Good thing that the spindle WAS running though since it could cut it otherwise you would have been looking at more damage as it forced a non-moving tool through what looked to be 1/4 inches of wood.
Not sure where the overtravel position is on your Z axis but you could change it to Z+1.0 or +2.0 for one to two inches of extra clearance over the part. Then when it hits x&y 0, return Z0.
Z-1.0 or Z-2.0 will plunge it into the part just so you know. Those negatives mean a world of difference.
