This was the best Madden in my opinion. It felt alive than the previous and future releases. The energetic crowd, stadium sounds, spot-on textures, and crisp movements made me love this game. The only one problem I found with this game was the A.I.
It lacked awareness and competitiveness that is important in all sport simulations. Otherwise it more arcade-like. I did not find this game to be much of a challenge because of how poor the A.I. was. I also do not find this game to be the best anymore. The gameplay is much worse than most of the older and newer games.
Last of the good Maddens,im back playing this game again and now remember what fun feels like.For awhile i thought i lost my love for the game boy was i wrong.

This game plays excellent. Zone coverage is a bit touchy but they addressed the major issues with the game from last year and have totally revamped the game to play more realisitic year in and year out!

Hi - Looking for Help A brit here. Got the game for (what i thought was) Easy Achievements, But I have not got a clue how to play this. The players run around and mostly go backwards If I throw the ball the other team catch and best of all this is on 2 player with an empty controller as my opponent!! Is there an easy way to learn this??

Only NFL game I've played was Blitz and even though I like sports and sports games I've never gotten into American football as I'm from Sweden. But I really feel like getting Madden 11 to learn the sport and to get a new challenge in terms of sports games.
dear ea this is what i want in madden 12 1. when you are using superstar mode, when you start have a training camp and go more deep into it 2.add consistency, when ever i complete 4 passes in a row i want to do better than the normal throw 3.kinda do what back breaker did but not to much 4. in franchise mode there should be force trades 5.also in superstar mode you should be able to do stuff in the off season 6. have an online tournament mode 7. have more features like street ball
@hollywoodnumba3 The NFL 2K series did that when it was still around... I think it was 2K4 and 2K5 (or maybe just 2K4). Either way, it was called First Person Football, and it was pretty fun. Not great, but still kind of fun.
@Biggshownob u dont have to pay for online! look on the back of ur instruction booklet and the code is there.. They just did that so if someone buys the game used, they have to buy a code because most likely the code on the instruction booklet would be registered, unless they were like you and didnt notice it..
This was the first and only madden game I owned for the PS3 and that I was able to actually win games on. Before EA made Madden difficult to play even on the east levels.

the last madden game i played was 2008 on the ps2 so this one seems like a pretty big improvement since then, the franchise mode sucks in comparison but it's still a great game. i hope fifa 11 won't be a let down too.

Well, it's not like Franchise Mode needed more tuning, but it would have been nice to see EA try to push the development of Superstar. If they fail to advance it further, then they honestly should get rid of it and use the extra processing power to polish the rest of the game.
@alexzander360 Gameflow doesn't have to stay on, but if you create a custom-gameplan(which you get an achievement for) the AI will only pick plays that you like. So overall, the gameflow system is actually better. Not to mention, if you don't like the play they pick, just do audibles.
i play on all pro. How come when i run they blitz, and if i pass, they don;t blitz? it's automatic, and it's pretty annoying. even on like 3rd and 22, if i chose to run, they somehow know, and blitz. if i chose run, and audible to pass, they know exactly what i am audibling to, and they go coverage. WHY?
Madden never changes that much. I completely agree with this review just because I too am a Franchise/Superstar player and it hasnt changed at all thats why Im stickin with Madden 10 untill they release a Madden thats completely different and new.

Can someone answer me this... is it me or are wildcats broken in this game?? literaly the last 40 i have tried have (no exageration) failed to gain any yards at all. I get hit for a loss instantly with no chance of making any ground... am i the only person with this issue?? Love this game btw.
How does gameflow make the game faster when you still have to choose whether you want gameflow after every play. And it only takes me 5-10 seconds to choose a play. I dont think 5-10 seconds will improve the speed of gameplay by alot.
They should make one big Madden game and call it something like "Madden forever" and sell updateds every year. They should also have one game mode where you can make a player that starts at high school and works their way up to the nfl and call it "Varsity Letter"

How does IGN not point out the suction blocking, vacuum tackles, invisible forcefields, horrible animations, morphing, and teleporting/timeshifting?
