Egg Reverie is the final boss...like, the FINAL final boss. The one you only get to fight by beating the regular final boss with all 7 chaos emeralds as Sonic. Funnily enough you don't see the level's name anywhere other than the level select screen, and as far as I know, said screen is the only way of going straight to the fight without having to beat the regular final boss again. If you're hoping to avoid spoilers for this particular fight, here are some tips for grabbing all the emeralds so you can experience it yourself: 1) You don't have to get all 7 emeralds in one playthrough. Once you beat the game, you can use the non-cheat level select mentioned at the start of the video to get the rest. 2) Easiest Giant Ring to find is the one in Green Hill Act 1. Keep progressing through the level normally until you reach the part where there are multiple short platforms with spike pits between them, and above each gap is a pair of rings. After this, there will be a giant ring on the other side of a collapsing bridge. That's the one I used for all of my emeralds. 3) If you fail the special stage, the giant ring can't be reactivated by merely restarting the level. You have to quit and then start it again from the menu. 4) During special stages, focus on sphere collecting to boost your speed, only going for rings if you're running low, if they're in your path anyway, or they're in a floating ball that you already intend to use as a shortcut. 5) Jumping before corners helps you change direction faster and slows you a little so that you won't go flying off the edge and into the abyss. 7) When you've gotten to mach 3 (or mach 2 if you think you can do it) and have a decent number of rings, always go for the shortcuts to close the gap between you and the UFO.

The Sound Test, back in Sonic 2, had a cheat code sequence that allowed you to start with all the Chaos Emeralds. I wonder if trying it in this menu will give you the same result on a blank save.
I have gone through so many different ways of trying to unlock this on PS4 based on comments left on this video and NONE of them worked. Can someone who ACTUALLY owns this game on PS4 and has ACTUALLY done this tell me how I do this?

MinecraftNinjagoAndStuff I got this from another guy 1. If you have debug mode, go to no save mode then turn it on 2. Then you go back to no save mode 3. Hold Y and press A on No Save 4. Enjoy! :D
Have you tried the debug cheat from sonic 2 in that sound test menu and the super sonic cheat? Also, is there a way to play 2p competitive like sonic 2 but without unlocking this mode? Because that's just stupid that you can't play 2players from the get go like sonic 2 wtf!
I don't know if THIS method is in the PC version, but I couldn't get it to work. Instead there seems to be another method entirely. I'm using a SNES controller so I'll explain the buttons relevant to that, but as the video's Save Select screen shows, the button commands match mine. There should be a fourth button command, which on my controller is X. Apparently it requires the Debug Mode in Secrets to be activated, so you may need to unlock that first. Once you enable Debug Mode, go back to the "No Save" mode (since you can only use it in there). Select your character while holding the X button and it should take you to the same level select screen.
