Thanks for solving the mystery of the forks, at least for me. Mine feel somewhat clunky and cheap. Very informative video. Upgrading to an air fork is in the back of my mind, and I see that you have done that. I'll see how my stock set works out, but really nice to know whats in there.

I believe what you're asking about is in a video I made about the changes / upgrades I've made to the Ranger. The short answer about a voltage converter is no, this particular headlight has an operating voltage range of 12-100v. I also have a video of me using this headlight at night in the woods, it works very well. All that said, if you are running the stock fork on a Ranger this modified headlight location will work well for you. I just installed a new air fork (video released this morning) and the modified location will not work on that fork because of the huge amount of travel the fork has., it would be hit. So, back to the stock location with the new light until I come up with something better! Cheers
Indeed my question has been answered in one of your videos! To go to work and travel on the road I plan to use a motorcycle horn, the original one is too gimmicky, I'm going to switch to 66w 115db!!! And for the lighting, a combo led headlight that can do high and low beam, hence my message on a 52v / 12 v converter, I will consume between 4 and 6 amps!!! With of course the addition of relays
@@sylchatzen3709 Hello Sly, that sounds like a good plan for your Ranger. I now understand your question on the converter. If you haven't already purchased one I'd recommend the Fulree AD120030b5 converter. With 15-52v dc in and 12v dc out. It's also tiny and easy to hide and is quite inexpensive. I've used this one with good luck. Available on Ebay and Amazon. I also like the idea of a 115db horn! That'll do what you need it to do! Thanks for watching!
Hey, thanks for your answer, I already took the converter thanks!, for the led headlight, it is 50w, 4250 lumens and low beam / high beam mode, should be recommended for bikes that blind too often with these ultra-powerful LED lights!!!, question why only change the brake disc at the front and not at the rear? @@sylchatzen3709 Hi Sylvain, having a super bright headlight is very nice at times! I upgraded the front brake because it is your most powerful and effective brake. Under normal dry conditions 60 - 70 percent of your stopping force is exerted there. Also, the front brake on the Ranger squeals like a school girl without this upgrade. There is just too much weight with bike and rider to try to use the little stock discs.

Is there any way to change the oil inside in order to slow down the rebound a bit? But so far after a short test yesterday on a quite rough single track, I think the combination of the fat tyres and the suspensions works pretty well. Hello Antoine, thanks for checking it out! The dampening cartridge is a sealed unit, so no oil change possible. There are replacement cartridges available that could be fit to the fork for custom dampening, but probably more cost / trouble than it's worth. You're right, it's the combination of fat tires and the fork that give the bike a very nice feel in the front.
Would never buy a bike with triple clamp forks... But if you ride off road a bunch and don't mind limited turning radius some have, I guess it's nice for some people.
Unreal, great review. Makes me so happy that I didn’t buy a ranger. These forks are no different than the cheapest Chinese e-bike. Total crap. Cyrusher have priced the ranger twice as much as it should be., just because it looks better or more like a mountain bike when is clearly not. There is no reason the ranger should be the price it is!
Hi David, the forks are very typical of all the fat tire e-bike forks I've seen including the American made bikes. I think it's more of an industry standard than a regional thing (China). They work well in general and combined with the big tires they provide a pretty good ride. The rear air suspension on the Ranger is very good, heavy duty linkage, good design, and a good shock provide a very nice ride. I'd love it if someone produced a Fox or Rock Shock quality fat tire fork, but as of yet I haven't seen it. I suspect this is because the fat tire e-bike market is kind of its own relatively small niche. The bikes aren't really "mountain bikes" but they aren't a commuter either. But, if someone did the price of the bike would go up by $1000+. The Ranger is is a very competent road / smooth dirt trail /non technical single track bike. More like a cross country bike. There are similar bikes to the Ranger that cost several hundred less, that is true. When I bought mine early on it was $2399, they have gone up since. Still, the fun factor and the fact that the bike impresses me every time I take it out makes me very happy I bought it! I

It’s just overpriced and has very little difference between a bike half the price. It’s mostly cosmetic. The price of the nitro follows this trend. Big jump up in price for just a mid drive motor. Same standard components, maybe slightly better geometry for off road but I wouldn’t trust a manufacturer of commuter shopping bikes to produce anything that could go off road, but it will have the looks and be attractive to the brand hungry fan boys. So what is better for the money? Well first off most fat bikes are used for the road and some trails, meaning there not used for the intended purpose, SMOW or SAND. Any normal mountain bike tyres will do a better job, be more efficient and be way lighter and cost less. So fat tyres are used for Cosmetic only. Lots of amazing good quality, branded EU bikes for this money with rockshock/ sram kit. I do like and ride fat tyre myself because I love the feel of it and ride a lot on the beach. There are lots of great bikes, even full carbon fat bikes with quality components for Ranger money. Here is a link to my bike, full carbon, built bespoke for me, dropper seat, mid drive, SRAM suspension, 52v 16nm torque, 4 piston brakes and built buy a manufacturer that understands bike geometry, so this bike not only looks good but it’s got it where it counts. Oh. And it’s Ranger money and s as lot less than the about to be released,heavy and overpriced nitro. This company don’t give a free bike to every CZcamsr that does reviews, mostly to channels that know nothing about bikes.
Not sure these bikes would suit the Cyrusher customer as they don’t have raised shopping bike handlebars, long stems and the ability to add luggage racks.
I need to replace the preload adjustment cap on my Cyrusher Ranger do you know the size ? Out side of cap measures 34 mm . I was thinking threads must be 30 mm . any information would help , tired of dealing with companies warranty dept.
How cheesed were you when you realized you had to take it all back apart because you forgot to reinstall the rubber bumpers that keep the fork from smacking the frame ?

Hi Tony, I measure the cap threads at 30mm and the thread pitch at 18. I suspect it is this cap on ebay, #6 option. 404185869107 Cheers
