    Great rig, use it for wafters, bottom Baits, pop ups (blob of putty) and snowmen.
    Not many effective rigs you can use for just every bait presentation.
    This is probably the 1 rig you need, make it a combi if your feeling fancy 👍

    Good rig but better if you use a loop rather than a knotless knot so you can change the hook. I make mine with 35lb jelly wire which is bombproof so all I need to do is change the hook when it gets blunt.

      Then yours is a multi rig not a slip d

      @@kevinwoolner954 yep. I use the multi for everything

    May not be a big deal since youve got the shrink wrap as a kicker but ive always been told to make sure to exit out the front of the eye of the hook with my knotless knot. In this video you exit out the back. Small detail but hopefully this helps some.

    Best wafter rig use exactly the same components minus any shrink tube

    The bait screws are a right rip off nearly a pound each

      Yeah carp tax! Use a micro swivel or rig ring mate, that way you can have them all ready to tie on (floss) before you go 👍

    Why would you strip 4 inches of
    Coating and then cut a piece off? Just measure it right and you dont have to cut anything:).

    • @geoffsaunderson5766
      @geoffsaunderson5766 Před 2 lety +1

      The amount of time it takes to measure that exactly, and then get a tiny tag end back through the eye, is maybe more hassle that just cutting off 1cm?

      I just make a figure of 8 knot then another at the length I want my rig, then cut off the spool, don’t waste anything then!….Also I can switch my hook and reuse the rig 👍🏻

  • @JamieVauxnut1
    @JamieVauxnut1 Před rokem

    Great rig but that's not a "slip" d rig that's just a d rig . The key point is that it can slip

    • @rhodey4759
      @rhodey4759 Před rokem

      It clearly shows you the d slipping down the shank of the hook at 1:43 in the video
