- Welcome to the BMW MOA's Motorcycle Test Kitchen, where we try out gear, accessories and other products for motorcyclists of all kinds.
In this video, we install the Mesh 2.0-capable SC2 integrated communication system in Schuberth's newest flip-front helmet, the C5. HD speakers are already built into the helmet, so all you have to do is put the three pieces of this kit into the C5 and boom, you're ready to go. Could this be the easiest comm system install ever? Get all the info and find out where your nearest dealer is at www.schuberth.com/us/products....

Tnx man. Too lazy to read the manual. This helped a lot.
No problem 👍
I’ve been looking around for two months waiting for the sc2 , finally found it online and waiting for it to come in and instal mine
Thx so much for your video! All sorted with ease. I’m from Gold Coast in Australia. If u r ever here tell me and I’ll take u on a great ride. Thx. Lockie
Great video... to the point and easy to follow. Thanks!
Just wanted to say thanks for doing this. Unlike you, I found the "SC2 Quick Start Guide" a little difficult to understand, in particular with regard to the plugs that needed to be connected. Your video was extremely helpful, and I appreciate it.
Glad it helped. It probably helped me that I had a one-on-one with a Schuberth rep before getting all this in my hands, they were able to show me step-by-step what to do, so the instructions reinforced what I'd already been shown.
Best helmet hands down I have ever owned. Also the SC2 is equal to the best wired audio setup I had on my BMW 1200 LT back in 2008 from J&M ? I think they're called. If you're on the fence, jump!.
Спасибо тебе добрый человек
good instruction, thx!
Glad it was helpful!
This is a wicked helmet. You have the color I wanted but was back ordered over two months ago I picked up the white and red eclipse and a concrete gray. Should have the sc2 in later in the week.
I've been able to use it a few times and first impressions are favorable - full review coming in a couple of months.
Sehr schön erklärt! Schöne Grüße aus Deutschland 😃
first reviewer to show the usb c connector. So i guess you dont have to unplug the battery to charge the battery. just plug the battery once installed the usb c connection
correct!
What I like about my C4 and the SC1 system is that I have multiple batteries. And I can switch batteries very easy. I wonder If I can do that with the C5 because I have a SENA 50s and when using mesh the battery last 5hours at most.
The battery on the SC2 remote is easy to replace, it's behind a little slide-out tab. The comm unit itself (on the back of the helmet) is recharged by USB cable.
Great
Have you ever gotten your SC2 equipped helmet to be paired to your BMW’s TFT and be on intercom with your passenger at the same time? I can’t seem to get both to work at the same time, it’s one or the other.
Hi - I've never been able to pair the SC2 to two devices at the same time. I don't have a bike with a pair-able dash, though, so I attempted connecting to my GPS and iPhone at the same time and that didn't work either.
Did you have any issues with the remote pairing with the SC2? It will say "remote control pairing" and beep endlessly even when I turn on the remote utilizing the + and up button like what the manual says
No, but so far I have only paired it to my GPS (Garmin zumo 590LM)
Same with me i cant figure out how to conect to the phone… ☹️
The voice controls "hey sena" not working at all. Not sure if it's a firmware issue? Tried everything including saying hey seenah. Pretty poor
Same here, responds to some Google Voice Commands???
My SC2 wont power up, was working great up until now, any thoughts.
Try plugging it in to recharge for a long time - overnight, maybe. If it powers up after that, you might want to try doing a "factory reset" or "reset to factory settings" - it might be called a "hard reset" in the manual, I know other manufacturers call it that. If that doesn't work, you might need to visit a dealer for further troubleshooting. Good luck!
