  • We take you through how to use all the features on the Schuberth SC2 Comms which fits the C5 helmet. Everything from Unboxing and installing to pairing other non-Sena systems (such as Cardo), all in one handy tutorial!
Extremely easy to install, configure and use, SC2 sets a new standard for motorcycle communication. The required hardware, already pre-installed in SCHUBERTH C5, includes HD speakers, two antennas, and a boom microphone with jack connection. SC2 is extremely simple to use: simply remove the covers at the back of the helmet, free the remote control housing on the side, plug both in and you are ready to ride!
Thanks to the new Mesh 2.0 technology, SC2 delivers an unparalleled level of intercom connections redefined the concept of “communication network”.
Share and care: connect up to 4 SCHUBERTH communication systems via Group Intercom or use the Universal Intercom feature to connect with other brand headsets
Please note the sounds and voices coming from the speakers in the helmet were recorded with a microphone inside the helmet. If you are not wearing the helmet during set up we advise turning up the volume and putting the helmet near to your ears in order hear the confirmation sounds.

Thank you for this video. The user guide instructions did a very poor job at explaining how to pair up with my phone. I wasted 2 days trying to troubleshoot my issues. I had convinced myself there was a problem with my phone or the sc2 app. I was going to take my phone to have it diagnosed, but after one last attempt to find self help resources on the internet, I was fortunate to find this video. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

100% agree. I had the same problem. Luckily I found a short video in CZcams from Schubert Poland, in Polish, of course, doing the pairing and it's super easy once you know that you have to continue pressing the pairing key after listening the first message after the first 5 seconds. And not stop pressing it at listen the message at the 5 seconds

What I like about my C4 and the SC1 system is that I have multiple batteries. And I can switch batteries very easy. I wonder If I can do that with the C5 because I have a SENA 50s and when using mesh the battery last 5hours at most.

One issue not readily apparent is the SC2 can only connect to one remote at a time. The helmet controller counts as one. I already had a Sena RC4 handlebar remote I planned on using. Which ever remote I press first becomes the only one that functions until the main SC2 is powered off. So you have to choose which remote is active.

Hi, great video, i miss a thing.
I have a BMW f900XR and i have Navigator 6 in your video i dont see that you pair the SC2 to the BMW as helmet.
I think its needed, but when i pair it to my BMW it works short but will be disconnected as soon the navigator which is paired to SC2 as GPS ., So i cannot hear the Navi if i use the internal one from the BMW.
    Any idea?

If you charge the unit fully then don't turn it on 4 days later the battery level is at 45% but apparently that isn't an issue.
Any other items with batteries don't lose 55% of the charge in 4 days with no use

Do I need to turn off the remote and the main unit in order to power off the whole system? EDIT: Yes, although the remote has pretty long battery life, however, is always good to turn off both.
It is possible to volume up or down from the remote? EDIT: Yes, pressing once + or - will do the volume control, while long press will to next/previouis track.

Good overview video. I have this unit and think it’s great (and the helmet superb). Only one thing I can’t seem to be able to adjust: the Sena voice confirmation sound level. For example, when I’m listening to music and want to play the next track and I say « hey Sena, next » the system replies « NEXT » so loudly it’s painful. I wish there was a way to turn down the Sena system sounds and replies, don’t see that anywhere, not in the app or manual.
    Other than that, it’s sweet.

How can you connect more than 4 people in a group/channel ?. The instructions say that the group mesh supports up to 24 and the open mesh is near unlimited, however we could only get a maximum of 3 connected.

    • @BikerHeadz
      @BikerHeadz  Před rokem

      Hello,
The SC2 can indeed mesh group up to 24 headsets in a private group mesh.
To add a member to an existing group mesh, simply open the mesh communication on a helmet already in the group. Then press and hold the (Mesh) button until you hear “Mesh Grouping”.
Once you’ve done this, do exactly the same for the helmet you want to add to the group.
If this is not working for you, you can still mesh group through the app. With both of you using the SC2 app, navigate to the “intercom” menu at the bottom of the app. Select “Mesh” at the top of the page, and press “grouping” at the bottom right. Do this on both phones.
Once paired, the newly joined member will be able to hear everyone else who’s in the group.
