- I will always be grateful to my friend Richard for letting me have such a good collection of songs. This one is a typically great performance from Waylon, he hads another dimension to anything he sings with that great voice of his . Wish he was still with us

Worst feeling in the world knowing you were born too late to see your childhood hero in concert
I remember when I was driving trucks across this great country back in the 70's and 80's and use to listen to Waylon on my cassette tapes in my truck. Those were the days.
One hell of a way to experience him and America.
Did u ever cross thru indiana on 70w or 7east thru Monrovia? lol
met eddie raven at the original small flying j outside tuscon one nite for coffee and cigarettes when the black dog was chasing love brother griz.
I’ve slept at a flying j more than once. My rig a ford thunderbird. My cargo about twenty pounds of contraband plants
Dream on, half me.
Waylon Jennings was the most handsome man I ever met. Not only handsome and very talented, he was always a gentleman. KIND, RESPECTFUL, FUNNY,HE REMEMBERS EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE. ❤ HE CALLED ME , THE JA'NET. .I KNOW YOU ARE WITH GOD NOW 🙏. THERE'S NO OTHER PLACE FOR YOU TO BE. THOUGH I SURE DO MISS YOU. I HOPE WE WILL MEET AGAIN.
Hello Janet how are you doing hopefully you are doing good??
He is truly the GREATEST OF ALL TIME!
Waylong is a man......... It was his way or the highway tell those record companies how it is ........ Waylon was free ...................God Bless him ....save me a seat in heaven brother and i'll het the next round
Sometimes I watch Waylon, in concert, and just sitting around picking, and I wonder if he REALLY knew just how good he was.
I've heard there's talk around
sayin' I'm out of control.
Something about too many bottles
and a love that's grown cold.
But you know talk is cheap
and sometime these stories get old.
But I keep on singing my songs
and I still got some soul.
So dream on if you think I still carry the flame.
Dream on if you think that I still feel the same.
Your love is just an old memory.
And I'm alright
You don't have to worry 'bout me.
I've spent my whole life going the way that I choose.
And I've tried to find a way where no one could see.
And it seems unkind to know
that maybe I've done it all wrong.
When I see my life flashing before me
sometimes in these songs.
So dream on if you think I still carry the flame.
Dream on if you think that I still feel the same.
Your love is just an old memory.
And I'm alright
You don't have to worry 'bout me.
So dream on if you think I still carry the flame.
Dream on
I'm 40, been listening to Waylon since a young boy. He was the best. I quit listing to country music on the radio in the 90's because its commercial crap pumped out to make big money and it sucks. He was country music and will always be my favorite.
wow little do you know, its always been commercial. especially waylon.
WAYLON JENNINGS OL' HOSS THE BEST 100%
Waylon Jennings was the best, all time Country singer period! With a big gap to 2nd.
Hearing his voice always makes me feel better.
Great song. Waylon at his best. Was privileged to see him a couple of times in concert in the late 70's early 80's and remember his show to this day. His songs are legendary and his voice, songwriting abilities are too. Hope Jessi keeps digging up and releasing anything Waylon did because his real fans can never get enough of Waylon!
me too first heard mc arthur on 8 track at a roy rogers collectors house in palmetto florida long live bubbles wilson love griz.
Dam right Waylon was undoughtly the best entaintainer the lord ever gave a voice too, hands down,
What a voice and such a great talent. Can never get enough of Waylon's music.
Meee neither, I got hooked along time ago and I'm still hooked lol you can't beat waylon jennings whether he is live or if he's on a record player does not matter, waylon is and will always be the king
When I die my first concert I’m going to in heaven is Waylon. Might even name my first son Waylon but Waylon forever !! 😤
I will, Waylon...forever. NEVER be another like you.
Iistening Waylon every day
Tonight I'm gonna Dream On. Time to let go...5 years gone So dream on, Wish u the best
My wife and I named our son Waylon after the legend. My belief system is founded around the words and ways of Waylon...I can only pray that I can be a fraction of the man he was. My idol...RIP WATASHA
Only as huge fans seem to only know about all these nicknames he had. Ha ha.
2024. Love Waylon great song
Waylon was one of a kind ALL GREAT.
If heaven has a Country music concert with all the greats, send me there when I go.
woke up every Sunday morning to my dad making breakfast and blasting Waylon on the stereo. Felt a connection to Waylon ever since. My dad even looked a little bit like Waylon in the late 70's. Lost my dad almost 20 years ago but I see him everytime I hear Waylon...
thanks for sharing , im sorry for your loss he sounded like a great dadand a man with good taste
this is one country singer i'd love to have sit down with and have a beer with.
Wish you was still here Waylon
only daddy that'll walk the line .... waylon is one of a kind he can not be replaced only not forgotten
His sweet sad songs are the best
Hello Carolyn how are you doing hopefully you are doing good??
I dicovered him just this winter ! And today I will be 58 ! I listened to Johnny Cash, and Kenny Rogers, and Dolly of course, then John Denver, Tanya Tucker, and others. I just never heared of Waylon before. I am amazed without words ! He is like Elvis, he has that voice, a good Bariton, he could have sing the opera. With a trace of cigarrets, smoky, havy, and the backg.music absolutely hot.
waylon was the best of my times.but still the best
Waylon shooter jessi. Yall stay in my prayers . I love you waylon and I love your family. Alot of us do. God bless you all
Hello Debbie how are you doing hopefully you are doing good??
Rip to an apsolute pimp gotta love ol waymore. Crazy im 22 this man has almost been gone as long as I've been alive but his music lives on in a whole new generation. Gotta love him!
Waylon had the best steel guitar player Ralph Mooney. that's whats missing in today's country
Jared Julander " pick it Moon!!! "
+D Ray moon was definitely pickin it on the ramblin man album
+Perry Lee 6
They keep showing his hands and not face on t.v. lol
Steel is a dying art, but “Mike and the Moonpies” have an awesome steel player.
None better...Waylon was country music and nobody ever came close
P.B. Floyd Maybe just maybe that because of waylon, I hate this new shit on the radio. Like I can literally take a shit in a tuba and the sounds will still be better than new "country". But nobody will ever come remotely close to waylon's toes, in my book. Don't get me wrong, I like a select few of the "newer" singers. Such as Trace Adkins, he has a great voice, but where I like him the most is his genuine, constant support of all the service men and women for our country. Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia line, Sam hunt, and all the other "bro country" shitters (see what I did there? lol) can kiss my ass while im taking a shit.
Listen to some of Gary Allen's older stuff, let me know what you think
Merle Haggard best of all time
@@ramhagramhag5481 Waylon right there with him,I Love Them both.
@@alexaa4538 Me too. When Willie is gone the Country Music is ended.Have seen Willies Whiskey saloon ..
Yea i am 53 two and have been listening to him every bit that long
Thanks to teddie for sharing these songs. The loss of singers like Cash and Jennings is immeasurable, yet through their music and with the help of the "teddies" of the world, they will rock on and on forever.
I love Waylon and Jessie's story. What a great gift to country Music.
Hello Judith how are you doing hopefully you are doing good??
to all you youngsters' comments - right on! been hooked on Waylon since 15. I am 53 now. you do the math.
Glenn Russell I am 52 and found Waylon when I was 8 years old. Got ya beat:)
Glenn Russell I'm 18 years old going on 19 and I love Waylon Jennings, only wish I would have grown up in a different era. I can't stand the majority of the people my age.
listened to waylon since birth my momma was a huge fan.. 44 and still in love with the man and his voice.. my playlist is full of waylon and cds i will never let go of.. yep i said cds😂
Very cool Glenn! I was turned on back in 1976 at the age of 11. I remember the day. I was heading up to Prescott, Az. for the horse racing they have would have everyday during summer. We just past through Wickenburg and the song Luckenbach, Tx. came on. And from that time on I was hooked!
I'm 54, and my 1st memory of him was at 9. best country singer there ever was.
Where would we be without Waylon.
T J look at today's country that's where we are at
It's in the trash can today. It's pop country, with female looking men, to much BPA and soy. Waylon was a MAN's MAN.
@@ifimnothereandimnottherewh2576 no no
I'd be listening to hank williams jr lol
I think a shit hole
I cried like a baby when Waylon left us!
Living in key west, news of his passing on the Don Imus show on TV about 7am,, music stopped in its track for me anyway,my wife tried to console me but yep cried like a motherless puppy.

Awesome song; Waylon had that sound
waylon always did it his way.
Every day is a Waylon' day Hoss
Waylon’s guitar had that sound that nobody else’s could even close to playing, he was the best at singing, playing that guitar and writing those songs, I’m still in love with him and Elvis always wil be

Jimmy Parris n
Me too old friend, me too
Happens to me about twice a week.
I caught my country idol at a venue in Marin County (California) in what I believe was his last year on earth 01-02?. I drove as fast as could, like an insane, possessed person, about half drunk and even blowing by the Golden Gate toll booth, or whatever it was (I was supposed to stop) and got to the gig with about half of it left. I hit my seat just as Jesse came on stage to do "Suspicious Minds" with him - it was mesmerizing!!! He remained seated (due to his Diabetes, I suspect) and only fanned his guitar, which was fine as he had a full complement of back-up MUSICIANS, but when he opened his mouth, there was no doubt as to who was singing!!! What power!! Instantly I knew that my years of loyalty had not been unfounded!!! Love that good 'ol boy!!
Hi Eddie...I was looking through a guys channel...and look what song I came upon..and I thought...hey..I know that guy.. I love this song...what a great one that I have never heard...guess where its going...:-))) you have a good night my wonderful friend...many hugs
outlaws forever
Tommy qa great song and great performance.
One of the last giants; there is some encouraging emerging talent reverting back to good music, but I don't see many with that look of truth in their eyes.
i really miss this ole outlaw
When I was about 18 I had the chance to go and see a Willie concert. About half way through it out walks Waylon Jennings. It was the first time they sang together in years and was freaking great.
Priceless!
I envy you
Saw the Highwaymen in Landover, MD at the Cap Centre in '93. Several of my bosses went and had a group of 8. I showed up and bought a solo ticket. I sat about 20 rows closer than the group :) Ended up seeing Waylon another 6-8 times and met him once.
Not heard this song before but great voice and music this is real country music. not like today's rubbish.
Waylon amava il valzer.... Che musica meravigliosa... 😇😇😇😇😇❤️🎶🎸🎶💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My first love was ELVIS as a little bitty girl and then in high school I found Waylon, I’m in love with the both of them, they are by far the very best above and beyond anyone else, no one can touch either one of them
I JoAnne never comment but you know Waylon I love your music on the records the best thank you lol.
Why do people go digging up mountains when the best gems can be found here on youtube?
My favorite male country singer. Now this is real country music!
Hello Dawn how are you doing hopefully you are doing good??
Waylon, has & will always be my HERO, wish I could gotten to meet the man. His music, has gotten me thru plenty of tuff times & still gets me thru today. Thank you!! Even though them words are not nearly enough, considering, what he did for country music & the lives he has touched. His son Shooter, has picked up his dad's tradition. Long live the music of Waylon!!!!
VERY WELL SAID! SO True; he is One Country Music Hero! right up there with Hank Sr. Nobody could ever wear the Man Waylon Jennings Shoes". Natural Born Killa'r!" Mmmm!! Mmm!!! R I.P. High On The Mountain Mr. Waylon Jennings. your forever be missed here with Country Music Fans. That's For Sure!
+MaryGail Poteat : only regret i have is not ever being able to go see him in concert. i'm hoping to catch his son Shooter before long.
+Tommy Gilliam
Ditto Tomgmy. Many times in my life that I could've seen him and didn't. Stupidly, in my younger years, I didn't appreciate a lot of people & things that I don't take for granted now. Waylon was one of those folks. Sadly, it wasn't until after his death that I became fascinated with who he was and his music. I had heard his music long as I can remember but didn't open my deaf ears to his songs until just a few years ago. yeah, One of my biggest regrets also. I watch Shooter often here on U tube . I been watching out for him coming to Atlanta, Ga.
Who'll be there is Me!!
Tommy Gilliam had the pleasure meeting him and his family in 91
The range of tones that he had it was awesome, highs and lows he had that special magic in his voice that we will never hear again. How could anyone not LOVE this wonderful and truly honest man? Miss him very much.
Sure gets you to thinking sure miss ol waylon dream on brother
I also wish he was still with us. I miss him terribly. This song is beautiful. He can sing anything and make it his own. R.I,.P. beautiful man.
got that right lili.nobody was better.
Thanks Max. So nice to see I am not alone to love this man. What a singer he was. Makes me sick to my stomach to see that he's gone. Seems like yesterday when I heard him for the first time with songs like Anita, Love of the Common People and Macarthur Park. Then I discovered him again in the 70's and I never stopped listening to him.
Just found James Johnson. He's a mix of David Allen Coe and Waylon. You may like him for a fill in.
what a great singer was Waylon Jennings .
Can you picture the concert in heaven? Waylon, Johnny, Merle, George.
Also EDDIE, a Great Singer & big Walon Fan RIP ALL OF YOU ~ Arthur
kevin bailey now that truly is a line up straight outta heaven. i know thats what heaven would be for me. Man I was born in the wrong generation. this new crap just cant hold up to the real legends of country.
AMEN!
Sure enough would. Also Conway, Vern Gosdin, George Hamilton IV, Freddy Fender, and so on.
We all know the Possum will be late...
Im from Germany and I be happy that I was ständig in front of Waylons grave in Mesa. For me he was one of the 5 greatest country musicians!!
one of 5 ? who could be others Waylon number 1 country singer/guitar player and as far as artist Jimmie Rodgers father of country music, Hank Williams most important ,Johnny Cash it's biggest star and Waylon , Waylon made it cool, my opinion best ever,,listen to sweet dream women, belle of the ball or memories of you and i man could sing, clyde and ain't living long like this, guitar work
I saw Waylon in Neurnburg. Was stationed in Crailsheim.
@@tex5261 Dont forget LEAVIN TOWN and DREAMING MY DREAMS AND AMERICA
so, you surprised me today with a sofar unknown Waylon-song 8and there can't be so many after all those years as his fan.
