Did Neymar exploit his full potential? Or do you think he could have achieved more in his career? 🧐
❤❤❤
barcalonas fault they couldn't keep neymar because obviously messi the main player and luis suarez had to take all the scene and xavi didn't like him because he did too much skills yet neymar is better than him 3x
he earned enough money, so yeah
ngl ronaldo is way better
He could have achieved more in football infact beyond the two goats but unseriousness destroyed him

So true
**The prince that never wanted to become the king**

@@miracleman8022 that's also true but he could've been better if he worked as hard as them.
I remember there was so much hype and interest behind neymar back in 2014 world cup in his homeland Brazil, people all over the world was talking about him, so sad he fallen off.
He hasn’t fallen off. Just injury prone
@@BlackIndu when he I wrote it he was fine, now he got his acl tear 😢
Repent for your sins and have faith in Jesus you will have eternal life and joy in heaven 🎉🎉😊😊
@@maiktendo6512 I'm not Christian but thank you anyways for showing kindness!
Neymar Jr.'s biggest flaw has always been his build. He's too dainty. Barcelona's doctor told the owners (in 2013) that Neymar really needed to add 12-15kg of muscle to compete in the Spanish league, but he never did.
It's unfortunate, because he had amazing ball skills, good instincts and IQ, quickness etc., but he never had enough physical presence.
His problems started when he mistakenly thought that he is capable to get a result alone and therefore he had never been fully committed to the team's plans... unlike CR7 or Messi. Mbappe seems to repeat this unfortunate path...
mbappe already won the world cup. if he joins real and performs he will save his career and legacy. neymar choosed psg above barca. that was the downfall.
If you think Mbappé doesn't play with a team mentality in mind, or lack of mentality in general, then you clearly don't watch his matches.
Both he and Haaland are as competitive as Messi and CR7. And Mbappé is as intelligent at being a striker as CR7.
Though both don't have as much of a playmaker's intelligence like Messi has, that is more a part of Bellingham.
Only Messi has both sorts of intelligence in him and that is why most people describe him as "born with talent".
Mentality and party problems are more common among Brazilian talents in general. It is part of their culture to admire riches and seek fame, because a lot of footballers grow up in poverty and support an entire community with their money and talent.
As if winning the WC isn't situational. Haaland will never win it with Norway even though he is a better player than Mbappe. If Mbappe played for another country, he wouldn't have won it.@@felge1
You cannot compare them at alll bruhh cr7 and messi got the spotlight but neymar never got the limelight he always deserved ... they were never at the same page
Mbappe has already won the World Cup and played in another final. Leave him out of this.
Neymar perfected, rolling on turf, and his national teammate, Anthony, took it a step further and become a real-life fidget spinner.
jajajaaj funny as the kicks that they really take.
“Real life fidget spinner” good one bro 😭😭😭😭
Even with all the injuries, I have all the respect for Ney. He's a big match performer and a showboat that makes you want to explore and love the game even more. Kudos to you Neymar. May the next WC be yours!
Next WC 2026 I pray 🙏
Very unlikely that Neymar will bé in the next WC

This time the hand of God, hehe.
he showed the wrong goal they disallowed that one
Neymar is still good, he fought for his glory when a decade of battle between 2 best of the footballers on war. He is still a legend and even any defender faces him, they still fumbles. Much loves and respects for him still now being a CR7 fan since 2007.
Too flash, not a team player, con artist. When he came up against English teams he was found out.
Sadly he just got injured again. And it seems to be the worst injury he has ever went through. I'm praying he comes back ASAP and recovery his best shape to get prepared for 2026. 🇧🇷⚽🏆 God bless you menino Ney!

O "menino" de 30 e tantos anos... Pfff
Its almost birthday time. Needs the time off to party.
@@Huehuecoyote He'll be back for WorldCup 2126 !
Rediscover his love for the game hit me hard.
I know what it feels like to be a seemingly unstoppable player without even trying extremely hard and then all of a sudden you lose your footing and start playing as an average player. It first and foremost injures the self pride you built while you were on top. Makes you to put in desperate hardwork which ends up fruitless. And that coupled with the expectations put on you by your club, your fans, yourself,e.t.c can ruin any player. It can truly make one to hate the game and forget why he started playing.
Sorry Ney😢
El Tata Martino was the manager for that one season.. was a pretty odd choice but Barca does have a history for appointing random choices for managers
im shocked there are as many videos like this about him as there are.. ANY other era and he wins like 2 ballon d'Ors.. he's one of the best to ever play. he also seems like a super chill dude who gives 98% effort.. not 100 which is still super human compared to most of us
Mogi das Cruzes is not a rough neighborhood... it's just a small inteiror town. The picture itself proves it.
Neymar Neves was por, he was not a millionaire when was a child but was middle class
Neymar's style of playing football is beautiful, but also is easy to be injured and less effective than either LM10 or CR7.
cr7 is only "effective" because of players LIKE Neymar, doing all the hard work breaking down defenses to provide scoring opportunities and easy tap-ins on a platter for him. Don't get 💩 twisted.
@@el.aye.bee.4477 wow. It must hurt seeing ronaldo in any coversation huh? What did he do to you for you to dislike him?

Bro has more trophies than 99.99% of players lol
Neymar x Hazard. Great players, generational talents, captain of national team, trophy ladent career. No GOAT but still fantastic career, only few could hv dreamt of.
Oh wow. I enjoyed watching this so much 😊
I take it back Neymar was one of the best player in the world, but injuries won't let him be
No, overrated
Dunga not selecting Ronaldinho, Neymar and Pato for the 2010 world cup is one of those facts you just stare at incredulously…
He was right in not selecting Ronaldinho, he was past his prime and he was never that good in the national team.
@@hoya1178 Ronaldinho in his 40s would be infinitely better than any player that Dunga called
@@hoya1178 I'd argue with "he was past his prime", coz a) was he? b) even if he were, Messi was well past his prime in 2022 yet he was instrumental in Argentina winning it all, and c) even a subpar Ronaldinho would have had defenders pulled to him, which would create spaces for others. That was Messi in 2022 in a nutshell. As for "he wasn't that good in the national team", for the 2002 win (which is the last win Brasil won) he played in all but 2 games (and he was suspended for a red card for one of those) and scored 2 goals. One of which is that iconic 59-yard quick thinking free kick. Yea, "he wasn't that good".
@@emilamore2152 You bringing up WC2002 is hilarious because he was not even close to being the star of that team, Rivaldo, Cafu and Ronaldo won that tournament, you bring up one good game for Ronaldinho doesn't change that. Ronaldinho was lucky that he played with many living legends compared to Neymar who has not played with any other legends in their prime.
Ronaldinho constantly underperformed for the national and that is why he goals and assist stats are pretty underwhelming.
Also Ronaldinho is simply not as good as Messi.
@@Huehuecoyote lol, there is nothing that indicates and you clearly didn't watch Ronaldinho play in the national team. After the 2002 WC from 2003 to 2013 he only scored 7 goals in competive games.
You don't become one of the best in the world without knowing about it ,a guarantee he was thinking about it every day ,great vids
Tata martino was the coach that season....the season in which athletico won the la liga for the first time in the 21st century.
Neymar didn't destroy he's career, stop making him look bad, Ney has suffered and he's still suffering from injuries, give him a BREAK
I’m his biggest fan but I’m not please with his style of plays, he hold on to the ball too much making it easy for defenders to foul him, if I’m a player that suffered injuries I would be more careful of how I play but for neymar he doesn’t care
I think the video title is a click bait. They acting like his career is over even if his career ends today he never had a destructive career
ha “BREAK”
@@joanel842and that’s why you not playing and on here commenting. How much money you got from hating on someone who doesn’t know you?
@@joanel842 please be quiet. Did Ronaldinho used to "hold on to the ball too long" too? what about R9, did he also hold on to the ball too long as why he suffered HIS injuries? Does Messi also hold on to the ball too long? 🤡
People make too much about he not wanting to be in Messi' shadow. They're professionals. He most likely left because of a bucket load of Arabian cash.
I always thought he was just going to be another Robinho. Then he proved me wrong with how he elevated his game at Barca. He ultimately proved me right in the end with PSG. Barca was the perfect environment for him
How did he prove you right when he was in Paris? I mean, he carried the team and doesn't have many bad games with PSG. Especially, in big matches in Europe with Paris, he is the one who plays the best. Final and Semi final in a row in Champions League was mostly thanks to him. And I say it by being a PSG fan from more than a decade now. He was unlucky because of his injuries which are because of contacts with opponents.
b/c there was a proper system at Barca that he had to buy in to and he developed to be more than a trickster. At PSG, he was the system. His time there was a cycle of waiting for the next year's UCL. I think he would've reached closer to his max potential at Barca.
PSG's Neymar was miles ahead of Robinho, don't forget that, for example, he was close to winning the Champions League
@@abd-bm3cd You talk so much nonsense, he was incredible in PSG and took them to a CL final, you clearly need to actually him play.
Robinho the rapist is not even close to his level.
He was always a weak ULTRA luxury player. Watching him in person, I’ve never seen anyone perform worse in their “other 87” minutes
Thanks for showing that goal should have given hand
You also saw that?
Mogi das Cruzes definitely is NOT one of "são Paulo toughfest subusbs"
That fiorentina kit is badass
His exit from Barcelona really hurt and so I've never wished him well😂
😂😂😂😂
Your wishes doesn't make him less talented .. people make mistakes and I am sure everyone has .. so you have no right to criticise him for his choices its his choice no matter good or bad so just shut the fuck uppp dude grow up alreadyyy
He's career is very similar to Ronaldinho's - magic on the pitch, only a couple of good seasons. But Ronaldinho achieve something more - success with Brasil and the Ballon D'or
neymar is better than ronaldinho..he just dont have great like ronaldinho had..he is player like ronaldinho magic on pitch but stilee he has most goals and assists for brazil and in history..he is highest ucl goal scorer for brazil..he has ended trhice at no 3 position in ballon dor..just thik if there was no messi and ronaldo,he might have three ballon dors
@@shivanshjain4718 Better in terms of teamplay of course, but still he didn't achieved as much as Ronny. And WC in for brasillians is like religion - without it you can't be amongst the greatest
Neymar is the biggest wasted career I've ever seen. He made the biggest mistake of his career by leaving Barcelona and he wondered why he was never appreciated and underachieved. His chose ego over legacy. Even though he was unfortunate with a lot of injuries...now at 31 years old he joins Saudi Arabia? Now he chose money over legacy... just a shame...
At this moment he did well to choose money, what would he do in Europe? look at it, it is in a finished state, in this state there was no more legacy to be worked on.
Well made and well explained video...
Top 5 of all time from Brazil 🇧🇷 1❤❤❤❤jamaica 🇯🇲
In the summer, you couldn't go a say without hearing about a player going to the Saudi league...
Now, you don't go a day without hearing about players regretting their decision 😂
As much as we wish he did more he does not seem to mind hes happy
Would be a great vid all the great players who have collectively lost years trough injury
Calling neymars career a failure is unfair. He made psg better contenders in the UCL, more than they ever dreamed of being. Blaming him cause of injuries that he suffered on the pitch is crazy to me. Look at his numbers wherever he went and played he produces. How is that a failure because of your crazy standards after being spoiled by Messi and CR7.
People who say this things shock me.. Neymar already made money that would take care of him and his family for 10 lifetimes.. and lets be honest, money is what all this guys play for.. So, in short, Neymar did not destroy his career, Neymar succeeded in ways you will never know...!
BRo this Boy Neymar is just legendary stuff BRo for real and y’all know that 🤴🏽😉⚽️🏆🥇💛💛🔥🔥👌🏽✌🏽🤘🏽🥂🍾🇧🇷🇧🇷💯✅
3rd best player in the world
You gotta be kidding! This guy inked a €200M contract with Al Hilal from 15/8/23 to 30/6/25. He is currently the joint second best paid soccer player in the world, surpassing MBappe.
If his goal was to earn maximum money for his family and future generations with minimum effort, then he absolutely succeeded. I'll take the money and the "what ifs" over being a broke GOAT.
I remember exactly the Barcelona coach in 2013/14 season: Gerardo Martino, who is currently Inter Miami coach
@soccerstoriesohmygoal Great Video! I've done a lot of Neymar-hating in my years of watching football but this story makes me at least respect the guy. Also, do you have an editing glitch at 17:26?
Neymar is still The Goat on top with Messi and Ronaldo and will forever be
uhhh, pele retired in 2002??? wtf are you talking about he was 62 in 2002
the last time santos won the league was in 2002, before neymar got there
Many players would only dream of having a career like Neymar. He was and is still one of the greatest we have seen.
Neymar one of my favorite players Talent wise he was up there with Messi and my other favorite play Ronaldo but just didn’t get the accolades those two got but I will always love Neymar
I’m not sure Neymar junior has not destroyed his career. I’m also pretty sure he isn’t destroying anyone else’s career either.
😢😢 destroyed his Career from Santos Legendary, To Barcelona Fc Legendary, to Paris Saint German Fc Legendary to Al halil fallen King 😢😢😢
Neymar never imposed his game into a style of play at a Club, about the time he started doing that he had to leave Barcelona, and his biggest mistake was his choice of clubs, no wonder he's much more successful with his national team, he was never a giant as LM10 or CR7 though but could have been if he was more dedicated and built a stronger body, his injuries derailed him
Can't talk about the comeback against PSG without saying it was the most blatant CL robbery of all time.

Truth is, human body cannot stand high performance sports for too many years, and in Brazil, football players play from a very young age. That's why so many Brazilian players start to get injured so much after their 30s and seem to lose focus and commitment.

My friend, Blaugrana means blue and red. As in “the Blue and Red.” It refers to the team. You can’t became “a” Blaugrana. Just like you can’t became an old lady when you join Juventus. It’s not like when you join Manchester United you can be called a Red Devil. Get it?
Let’s review. Blaugrana refers to the team. The blue and red. Just like the Old Lady refers to Juventus the team. A player for Barcelona is not “a” Blaugrana and the players collectively aren’t referred to as “Blaugranas.”
13:55 that team was never good enough to win the tournament. I think the 2018 and the 2022 team were far better than the 2014 team. And the added pressure of being the hosts hampered them as well
