  • We spend 3 days floating down the Buffalo River Wilderness in Arkansas. We kayak down the river for 24 miles as we fly fish for smallmouth bass! It's an unforgettable few days of fly fishing, camping, and kayaking on this secluded and scenic river!

As a film maker, you killed this one. Randomly came across this on YT, feels like I've gone on the adventure with you. Keep it up

So well documented! I'll be heading there next month and probably headed to a similar stretch since the upper is super low for now. I'll have to pick up some of those dungeon flies and give them a go. Thanks for this timely post!

@@OutdoorHighlife thank you! I’m hoping we catch the tail end of foliage but it’ll be thanksgiving so probably a bit late. We shall see! My in laws are in Tulsa so we are in that area every year around thanksgiving. We will have to connect and go on a trip one of these days!

I'd really like to make this 3-day trip. Can you give me an idea of the cost (truck transport, camping fees, etc). Thanks, and great job on the video!

I honestly can’t remember the price! I had my own kayak and my buddy rented a kayak from the outfitters. Camping is free. If you have your own kayak, your essentially paying them to shuttle your truck to takeout. I’m thinking maybe like 80.00 dollars for the shuttle, but don’t quote me on that. But you may just call them and let them know your specific circumstances! Thank You!

Canoes actually do better than kayaks in low water. They have less keel and more surface area. So they glide over shallow shoals and rocks easier.
