- Welcome to Autmazing! We talk a lot about autism around here because we are a family with five kids and a mom who is autistic. We believe that autism acceptance is extremely important. We also post videos daily (or almost daily), about topics that we feel are important and sometimes there's a vlog thrown in too. We think it's important to see that being autistic is just that- another way of being human. You'll get glimpses of what's going on at the moment in our lives, usually in a little town in the midwest.
We are a family of 6, with a Mom named Cammie. Sadie is 15, Maggie is 13, Patrick is 11, James is 9, and Tessie is now 7!

Maggie's hair being messy reminded me of how my own hair looked at that age (and also now hair care does not always make my priority list and hair twisting has always been one of my favorite stims) I need to get my hair cut soon. Long hair is fun to play and stim with, but it is so much harder to take care of, especially since my hair is thick.

Hi, I just found you guys and have been binge watching after my sons bed time. I think you are incredible mum and as a solo mum of autism adhd myself, with autism and ADHD myself, i really relate to so much, you give me strength and I feel a lot less lonely.

I'm so thankful for your videos. It's kind of soothing to me that we aren't the only ones.
With such good clarity in and understanding with her words, why isn't a therapist adding a word to existing words? Ex..instead of just " bathroom " or "park".."go bathroom" " or" go park". The goal being to have more interaction with others. I can't imagine that it may have to be a consideration in the event that in the future she may need or want to go beyond her boundaries now..
