  • My name is Justin Nesselroad and I was diagnosed with a rough and aggressive form of bile duct cancer called Intrahepatic colangiocarcenoma. This is my journey and the updates to my friends and family. My goal is to show the real day to day side of going through this process and to help encourage and inform others just being diagnosed or friends and family that don’t want to ask the diagnosed a million questions.
Today’s update was raw, unedited. Sorry for that. I’ve got a lot coming up the next 2 days and wanted to get this out before then!
Please consider subscribing if you find value and want to continue to follow my journey. It also is super encouraging to see people interested in my journey. It makes me feel like maybe I’m getting this story out to help.

Mon I had my upper and lower scopes done. Felt bat all day and my temp went up to 102.8. Went to ER expecting a infection from a bio they did in the colon or Covid. It was covid so I had to reschedule my fri appt with cancer dr. Colon Dr didnt think it was cancer so looking like Bile duct even more. Hope you deal with the cemo as good as possible and thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the update! Sorry about the fever. Those days are tough. I wish I could tell you they go away, but as you can see, when you’re on chemo every day is kind of a crap shoot.
Good news is, Friday and Saturday were really good days.

@@Operation_Reborn Dr gave me a year to live . Starting chemo on Tuesday morning . Hoping it will shrink the cancer in my liver since the pressure on everything. Lost 20 lbs over the last month just because eating creates more pressure. Hope you are doing ok.

@@elib5001 life expectancies are just guesses. Keep your chin up, remember every day what makes you happy and do that as much as possible. Good luck w the chemo, keep me updated. There are a million cancer survivors, start chatting with people. Join a support group if you can, no one understands better than they do. If the tumor shrinks w chemo, new treatment options may open. There are some aggressive hospitals out there that may transplant. Stay positive.
