It's unfortunate the game seems to have flopped. Peak players on steam is only 3k and it's only like 1000 on average. Even if you combine other platforms I imagine it's not much higher.
Same with never going into the settings and changing his sensitivity, of course it’s his choice but it’s always so odd that he says he just wants to have fun and doesn’t want to sweat even though stuff like changing the sensitivity will just make the experience more suited to him
I adored this movie as a kid, so when this game came out i was sooo happy. Already level 60, been having a blast Also, I love the mini game mechanics. Even when you're dead you can help your teammates by giving them items, it's so smart

You don’t get experience for leaving a match early. You only get experience for completing the match by staying. Also, do the mini games for crying out loud! It can literally give your team an escape item or shotgun if the RNG is good enough!
The first thing he ever got when he first did the mini games was give one of his teammates a shotgun, I don’t know why it didn’t register to him that that’s a pretty massive thing he to can do to help his team

You say that like DbD itself has never died, they literally have to drop a new killer, map, and survivor every 3 months just to maintain a profitable player count. It’s an 8 year old game, don’t pretend otherwise, there’s a reason DbD doesn’t have a monopoly over asymmetrical games. Not everyone finds repairing 5 generators every single match to escape as “fun”, not everyone likes no option to kill the killer, not everyone enjoys a toxic community that pretends like their game is the best in the genre simply because it’s had continuous support for 8 years, as opposed to a sequel that could’ve actually changed the the monotonous objectives. A lot of people give them credit for being the “first” online asymmetrical game as well, which I’d guess is why they cut BHVR a lot of slack, but without even doing any research I can tell you I remember playing White Noise (2013) on my 360, which had a healthy community. Don’t mistake me for a BHVR hater either, I do still play Naughty Bear frequently, even have his skin for Trapper, i just don’t agree with “just play DbD” as a legitimate suggestion to someone trying to find asymmetrical games. Of course people will keep coming back for DbD’s new chapters, but brother, the game is pushing on being a decade old, they can’t change player’s objectives because they’ve literally coded the entire game & perks to coincide with those objectives, you can only update textures, mechanics, and add new content for so long until you ask yourself, “why tf didn’t i just make a new game!?”.
