    I had an OK night sleep last night. I did toss and turn quite a bit and had a hard time falling asleep. I still had an awesome back and biceps workout this morning! My form was on point and I felt super strong on every rep. I just got back from getting my DEXA scan. I did go up 2.5% body fat over the past four weeks, I went up 8.5 pounds, 4.1 pounds of muscle, and 4.5 pounds of fat. Overall, I’ve accepted that I need to put on fat to start to build muscle. I have also accepted the fact that getting to single-digit body fat percentage for a long period of time is not sustainable nor healthy long-term. If I can put on 2.5% body fat over the next few months, that will get me to my goal of somewhere between 16 to 18% body fat. I was very happy to see. I put on 4 pounds of muscle over four weeks. I know that I will not be putting on 4 pounds every month natural bodybuilding takes time to build quality lean muscle tissue. One to 2 pounds of muscle per month would be outstanding! This will be my goal once I hit the months of either September or October.
