      You've only begun to analyze the lyrics so much you have to see. Take another look, start by this clue, make two words out of cannot, make it ""can "" "" not "", also in the lyric " turned upside down", this clue is of a crucifixion upside down, there is so much nobody can see here in these lyrics, can't you see is a pleading soul for someone to look with their soul, at his soul. If you do look again and you may not let yourself speak how many other lyrics all tie together from other songs, telling you a mystery of truth, but then again you may ; )

    I think Freddie knew he would be a celebrity and accepted everything that goes with it, the good side, being loved by so many fans, and the bad side, being spied, pursued by paparazzi . It is a very good analysis, very interesting. Please do more, I really would like to hear your analysis of In my defence.

      Tabbycat yes! He had some really good songs on his solo album but I think that so many people thought of him with Queen & you have to admit that the band’s chemistry and harmonies were incredible. However, The band should not take away the fact that Freddie Mercury alone was an outstanding vocalist regardless of what he did.

    As a literature student who's analyzed her fair share of Queen/Freddie songs, I really appreciate your analysis of 'Made In Heaven'. I love to see Freddie's solo work being discussed, mainly his 'Mr. Bad Guy' album because it's an album that I feel is lost and often overlooked (don't get me started of the lack of Mr. Bad Guy in documentaries). I often wish more attention would be brought to what Freddie did on his own because spoiler alert - he did things outside Queen too.
    What I'm trying to say is good job on this! You should definitely consider publishing song essays like this in written form, maybe on a place like Medium. Would be very interesting to read about more people's thoughts about song lyrics, it's one of my favourite things to do :D Keep 'em coming!

    Thank you for this beautiful and thoughtful analysis of this song and video. Like Mozart, Freddie was one of God's great gifts to all of us. Fate and Destiny are not the same thing, and so much of Freddie's life was out of his control. Fame and fortune can be both a blessing and a curse. Freddie never denied his spiritual roots in Zoroastrianism, or in the Anglican education he had at St. Peter's school. I believe he was a deeply spiritual person. He's singing in the Heavenly choir for al eternity!

    My take on Freddie’s lyrics....he connected with his fans in his music. It is obvious that he expresses his feelings and leaves everyone to figure out if it was his life stories or not. Freddie wanted to be a legend....it was his destiny. With fame there is always a price to pay. His childhood was odd, but he learned and honed his craft. Became a rock star and legend.

    "Taking my ride with Destiny, willing to play my part" - even with Aids and Illness in the Picture, those Words still point me to a spiritual understanding of life, so to me the solo track is not entirely about illness, but a knowledge that even with illness in the Picture, it was his Destiny to travel this path.

    I actually feel that Freddie Mercury had a very strong sense of his own soul and spirit. It is obvious when you look in his eyes that he sees so much more, so this song is about so much more than his earthly life alone. It is a knowledge that his soul came from Heaven and returned to Heaven. Freddie seemed to have a strange knowledge of his Destiny and dying Young. It is the feeling that that was his fate. He came here only for a short time to make a powerful impression, gave all he had and taught us so much about his Unique way of being. He is a very powerful soul

    • @jimsgirl1465

      @CamillaMille1508 Před 4 lety +2

      Yes, he is certainly an old soul - and a great teacher even a "Master" I would say, and came here with a purpose of delivering spirituality and a Deep soul wisdom about being centered, present, and real while you are here. I have never seen anyone be so alive even when he was terminally ill. It was like he had a soul contract only to be here for a short amount of time

    • @CamillaMille1508
      @CamillaMille1508 Před 4 lety +3

      Yes, but I don't think he would have chosen on a spiritual level to become older. It is amazing in so many interviews and in the 86 concert that he talked about wanting to leave.. as if he had a knowing that he was not going to stay here much longer

    I loved this analysis! I don’t know if this is a good idea or or not, but you think for a future video you could analyze the Made in Heaven album? I think it would be interesting to learn what is from Freddie’s solo albums and what isn’t and what they did to Freddie’s solo stuff to make it Queen. I have caught on to a couple of things they did to the songs, but I also haven’t really sat down and listened to both versions (Freddie’s and Queen’s) to compare. I think it might be a good informational video for newer fans like myself. It may be a bad idea, I don’t know...

    Wonderful, insightful analysis. Celebrity is a false god, and probably wasn't what Freddie expected. I believe he was overwhelmed and exhausted by his fame. It may be why he and Mary were together until he died. Off stage he could be Farrohk Balsara with her because she knew him and loved him since before he was famous. T hete must have been meant times when Freddie just wanted to be Farrohk for a while.
