Sad thing is, i wear sneakers, no more oxford style shoes for literally the past 15-20 years or so. And second, the prices are being insane, just for renewal of the heel piece alone. Don't get me wrong, i buy my stuff (jeans, jackets, sweater) from quality brands into new alike, mint condition, because 1) it saves a lot of money and 2) it's good for the enviroment, nothing must being produced literally for me. I never had worn or bought clothes from fast fashion brands. I discovered that i can save much of money (up to 85% sometimes) with things, which had basically never being worn, or only 1-3 times.
Back to the shoes topic, i have a bad walking style in terms of shoes, which means literally, all 3 to 6 months, i need a pair of new shoes. Since sneakers are almost un-economic to replace the soles (from the usual say 80 to 200 euro range) i need at least 2 new pairs during a year, sometimes 3, sometimes even four (!) new pairs. Since i buy new sneakers mostly at the summer or winter seasons end, i could save usually 50% of the asking price, buying all new into original box.
