Home prices are pretty high, even in Georgia. I would say 50% higher than pre COVID. COVID ruined everything. We have been looking in and around the Dalton area. We've noticed lots of Ryan new builds going up, but the reviews on Ryan built homes are terrible.

400k is expensive for the average Jo and people starting out.

All these houses are 40-50% higher priced than they should be. Once blackrock and Vanguard stop buying homes sight unseen for over asking price to rent to the Federal government to house illegals, the market will crash. Car dealers are overstocked and can’t sell cars due to price and rates. Things will settle back down in a year or so. Be patient.
