  • In this video I do a walk around of our 2021 Can Am Spyder RT Limited and review the key features. We acquired this late in the season but have been able to get 3 decent rides to get the feel of the new machine. Impressive comfort and performance.

      Very nice. what colour is it and I will look out for you for sure? Before we retired to the Fenelon Falls area we lived in Mount Albert for 25 years... small world for sure. Thanks for your interest in the channel and I wish you well with your new ride.

    One of the best Can am video reviews I've seen... plan on a 2022 when they come out.

      Thank you very much. It is always nice to get a supportive comment for work that goes into the videos. We were going for a 22 also... but that colour (Chalk Metallic) is not being offered in the 22's. So, the boss of colour (you know who) weighed in and we bought the owner of the dealership's demo unit.

    Extremely helpful review. Thanks so much. I have a 2017 RTS and thinking about upgrading to a new spyder.

      As you know I came from an F3. Although we got the new RT near the end of the season we can really see the differences in this machine, we are very happy with the upgrade. Thanks for your comment.

    Excellent review! New to the Spyder world, took my class last September and rented a 2021 RT Limited and an F3 and was hooked immediately on the RT model. I did order a 2022 Sea-to-Sky and now waiting on its delivery. Can't wait to ride again! Cheers!

    I really like those grill guards! I'll have to look into those.
    I do love my 21' RTL Marsala Dark as well. Just added a Zumo XT and 12v plugs this week. I put the Lamonster handlebar riser on mine it was too low for me. Got about 7,700 miles now of fun.

      Thanks for your comment and your interest in the channel. Here is the link for those grill covers. www.canamspyderaccessories.com/rt-spyder/grills-front-and-lower-side/front-grills-2020-and-up/ I am sure there are others out there.
      Ride well, be safe.

    Nice highlight reel of the Spyder RTL features. The RT LTD is setup so much more for touring and comfort. As nice as the new Spyders are, BRP still need to make a few improvements. Stay Alert. Ryde Safe in a fun way. Thanks for sharing. Keep on Spydering. 😎🇺🇸.

    I have the same exact bike. I added handlebar risers from Lamonster and highwaypegs from Slingmods. Both really add a lot more comfort. Passenger armrests help too.

      We only got the bike at the end of last season. I am 6"4" and have a pretty long reach. I will have to get some time on the bike to see. My F3 had that style of bars on it. Thanks for your comment and your interest in the channel.

    Very nice, I just picked up an F-3S. It’s a 2021 with only 705 miles. The guy who owned it traded it for a Limited. So he and wife could tour with it. The F -3 S is a better match for my needs. My wife Don’t like to ride on the highway. We had a 1997 Honda Valkyrie that we loved. But didn’t really tour on it. I loved the Valkyrie, it was really decked out with an Arlen Ness Tail dragger painted to match the bumblebee factory paint scheme, Mike Corbin saddles with back rest’s and a 2 Brothers header exhaust with 2, 4.25 can mufflers that were baffled but straight through design. It sounded very throaty at idle but sounded like a cross between a small block Chevy and a Porsche in heat at WOT!! Miss that bike. It was a screamer but deep and throaty around town. Can’t wait to start getting to know my F-3S this coming spring and summer. Subbing. I’ll probably post some video later this season.

      If I was a solo rider I would have stayed with F3 series. Our 2016 was a great bike. The RT is way more passenger and touring friendly and that is our style of riding. She all tucked away for winter so I am really looking forward to the 2022 season. Thanks for subscribing to our channel, we have got some great trips planned for 2022.

    Nice, good choice from the f3, lovin' my 2020 RTL. Your 2021 came with the trailer hitch was already on the bike? How cool was that since you already have a trailer. The trailer hitch is an option feature, right?

    • @BikeBoatandTravel
      @BikeBoatandTravel  Před 2 lety

      This hitch is an option. The bike was the owner of the dealership’s demo so I only had to pay the cost of the part.

      @@BikeBoatandTravel wow cause I bought it for my sea to sky and the colour of the stiching is different and the dealer told me is just one colour that they sell, very disappointed by the way I live in Australia.

    I was gonna buy the 2022, Till I realized it was no difference for 20-21 and 22 just the price. So I Purchase the 2021 R T LTD black Red. I have everything you have basically but I've got the handle bars replace and it came up 2" Closer. I've had mine for 3 months.

    • @BikeBoatandTravel
      @BikeBoatandTravel  Před 2 lety

      As I mentioned in the video we were going the same direction (2022). It cam down to colour, BRP dropped the Chalk Metallic for 2022. I am going to wait and see on the handlebars until I get some more time on the bike (winter here). I am 6'3", so long arms. I have heard that smaller riders are more comfortable with the other bars. Thanks for you comment and your interest in our channel.

    Please, Please, Please, refer to yourself as the "Rider", and not the "Driver ". If you consider the Can-Am Spyder a motorcycle, as l do, there are no "Drivers", on motorcycles, just "Riders", passengers, also referred to as a "Pillion ". Please excuse my OCD, lol. Cheers. 🙂 🏍

      Got it.... Rider it is!! Passenger is now the Pillion, I must admit I had not heard of that term. Thanks for you comment and for your interest in the channel. 👍🇨🇦
