I lost my GPS while accelerating pretty hard on my ZX14, I had the RAM mount and so I haven't used it since. I am purchasing a Quad lock today.

Because of you, I bought the full set I think like 2 years ago. Because I am always afraid people will steal the quadlock holder and the ram socket arm I detach it a lot so it doesn't get stolen. Came back to this video again, to rebuy those 2 again since I lost them. Dang :) Still a great video and thanks!
P.s I can see they sell a dampener for the vibration nowadays, too bad Its not made for this ball design.

Have you had any problems with the vibrations causing problems with the phones camera? Iv Heard consistent vibrations can cause problems with the optical image stabilization system.

Thanks for the video! I’ve got an MT07 as well and have been thinking of getting this quad lock for a while. I would love to know how you’ve mounted the ball under the display? Is it a RamMount base?
So ya there is a bolt that holds the dash, you unscrew it and stick "RAM Motorcycle Base with 9mm Hole and 1" Ball" in between the bolt and the dash. And then you attach the clamp followed by quadlock :) You can check out the "How to wire phone charger" video on the channel it shows you how I attached the base.
@@TURBOTWINKIE I ordered the pieces you tell me but i can't connect them together. Both pieces have a ball shape. I checked your other video but it seems your quadlock has a holder which you placed on the RAM Motorcycle Base with 9mm Hole and 1 piece. How is the quadlock piece you got named?
I prefer my SP Connect mount. It is made of aluminium, has vibration damping and looks much better.
Was looking that this to replace my X grip RAM mount on my 2017 SV650 , but I’ve seen reviews of this case cracking.
Hmmm, would have to use it for a bit longer too see the how it holds to the elements.
I've had mine for a few months and I've dropped my phone in the case a ton of times and haven't had any problems yet

Please, how do you get the quad lock there? being placed on the handlebar
All materials are in description. Its not on the handlebar. It's clamped between the bolt and the mounting bracket, for the dash. Check my wiring phone charger vid. It will give you better idea where to put it, and instead of the regular phone mount you just put the quadlock :)
They do not have a case for Galaxy note 8 too bad.
The x-grip sucks. I don't have the rubber flap thing and using a pop socket with a case onto my S8 would make it way less secure and I've had my phone fly into my chest at 100 miles per hour.
Is that the short or the long RAM lever?
