  • Saturation Diving video series. Our shortest Chamber stay was at INPP. Institute(Dive school) that we went, to get our Saturation Diving Qualification. This school is located at Marseille, France. The whole area is dedicated to training Divers, whether it's Air or Sat diving, Open Bell or Closed Bell. It also conducts Diver Medics Technician Course. There are many other courses conducted. The compound houses INPP office, including a Clinic with a Diving Doctor. Near to the entrance is also a restaurant or cafeteria. Above that are rooms for stay-in students.
I shared a room with Binod Chaudhary(from India). Our Saturation Course in 2010 was a touch above one month. Back then we also went through Diver Medics Technician course and Life Support Technician course.
In general it was a very pleasant stay. Marseille town was a bus ride away. On weekends Mohamad Hassaniah and Mohamad Adly who were from Egypt would accompany us to town to get some groceries and eat kebab. Thanks guys for the company.
Anyway back to the video, Binod Chaudhary held the camera as the 4 of us were coming out. Very short deco after our 95-100m qualification dive in the Mediterranean sea ...off Port de la Rouge. We were so happy to get out, all were giggling away listening to our own voices. After we come out of the chamber, its chamber cleaning time. Get it ready for the next Sat Team.
Hope to meet the guys again.
I didn’t have a GoPro in 2010. Video was taken with Canon cybershot, thanks Binod. 1st 2mins of this video is from Azmin Bidin, using his handphone. Azmin is also a Sat Diver and he is from Brunei. He took the shots in 2021. I merged and edited both footage together as a continuos story line.

@@ikhwanazhar3042 Depends on the diving doctor, whether you are fit to dive or not. If you think you have the make to be a diver, there are always means and ways. Honestly I’ve seen divers wearing glasses and some wear disposable contacts when they are working..whatever it takes brother….when there’s a will there’s a way😁💪🏼
Nowadays I think the problem is not whether you can be a diver, it’s more like can we find work as a diver🤣

What's the first step to commercial diving? Like after graduating school

The first step is to prepare your cv, or resume. After that get your cv across to as many companies. Keep that cv and your diving medical current. If you go offshore they will want you to have BOSIET, (sea survival course).. you gain experience and exposure with every company that you work with. Stay positive and learn as much as possible. …. Have a good start and take care👍🏼

If you want to work in Singapore you will need a commercial diving certificate, course is conducted at KBA associates. This will qualify you to work inshore and in Singapore port limits.
The video I took is me at INPP France for my Saturation Qualification. Before this Saturation ticket , you will need a HSE part 1 or ADAS part 3, surface supplied diving up to 50m. And having these tickets you will be able to work offshore.
      Hope this helps 😁👍🏼
