You are very Welcome!!
How do you add in the formula the break times?
We are calculating in hours, which has 60 min but excel sheet is showing 75 min and total is also based on 100 not 60 min as the excel calculate in that way.
What should be the Cell format for Check In and Check Out Cell?
Thanks, it woeked me 🎉
Worked for me.
Great!
okay i have this, but i need to convert the .75 to read .45 in minutes. how do i do that? do you have a video on that?
Bohut hi badiya
Glad it Helped!!
Great job on the IF statement. I like many don't use IF that often and needed help understanding it better. The issue is when the scenario of time is not filled in for example it will give a 24.00 as answer. Should the IF statement be modified somehow of E4=24.00, then not to display 24.00? I think this is where using two IF statements together would be done, but have not done that (yet)..ha.
Happy to Help!! You can use the if statement to check if the cell is blank and then base your response on that.
Thanks
Welcome
Hi, How i can use this formula with 2 breaks.
Hi , since you seem to be an Excel Guru, i've a question that you may be able to answer.
is there a formula that add to something while keeping a previous calculation?
Let me explain what i'm looking for:
Let's say i have in cell A1 a value "100,00 hr" & in cell A2 "1,50 hr" (using decimal values with suffix, not hours / time / duration)
(meaning 1.50 hr instead of 1:30:00)
I want A1 to sum the added value every time i add something in A2.
Let's say monday i add 1,50 hr on A2, i want A1 100,00 hr to be be "101,50 hr"
Tuesday i write 2,00 hr in cell A2, i want it to sum up in A1 ( "103,50 hr")
Wednesday i write 5,00 hr in cell A2, i want it to keep summing in A1 ( = 108,50 hr)
etc.
First of all, is it possible to do this? and if it is, what would be the formula?
To be even more spécific i'm gonna use it on Google Sheets, hopefully , if there's a formula on Excel, Google Sheets will deal with it.
Thanks a million.
short and very useful. Thank you very much. Excatly what I was looking for!
Great to hear!
Thanks! Great vid great help! I do have a question though.
What if someone is on leave, how do I fix the #VALUE! error without removing the formula? #VALUE! error shows up if you put ON LEAVE/RESTDAY. If you leave it blank, the formula shows 24hrs automatically. Thank you!
Happy to Help!! You can use the IFERROR formula
As you have written in first column "in time -08:00 am and out time -05:15 pm" then worked hours will be 09 hours 15 minutes.
9:15 (9 hours, 15 minutes) is equal to 9.25 hours
Yes, it is true 9 hr 15 min but the column calculated for hour only which is 9.25 hours.
Please add overtime calculations

25% of 1 hour = 15 minutes
How can I get that excel sheet? Thank you

Why am I getting an error using this formula in 365?
SIR, IN THIS SHEET MONDAY HOURS MUST BE 8:15. WHAT ABOUT FRIDAY ? 8.75????
Since this is decimal calculation, 0.25 means 15 mins, 0.5 means 30 mins & 0.45 means 45 min
I am getting an error: #value! ... maybe cause i alredy
have a formula on my cells to combine the date and
time !
I dont know .. please help me, I'm trying for the last 4
days 😭😭😭
Sir how is possible 8 hour 75 minutes in E7 column?
This is 8.75 hours which is 8 hours 45 minutes
Exact working hours not showing instead of 15 mins it's showing 25 mins
For Monday, 9.15 hours should be the worked hour..isnt it??
If this really a correct formula? Because what I observed in this video is -
On
1> Monday it's showing working hour - 9:25 (the correct WH is 9:15)
2> Friday- 8:75 (the correct WH is 8:45)
3> Saturday- 6:50 (the correct WH is 6:30)
Yes. Since this is decimal calculation, 0.25 means 15 mins, 0.5 means 30 mins & 0.45 means 45 min
To sir ji 8.75 min time hota h kya aapka check kijiye
8.75 time means 8 & 3/4 hour, which is 8 hrs 45 mins.
I could have been better if you say out time or in time instead of d4 c3
Nhi a rha h sir
This formula is not working
Yes , that's the issue with me too ,I am also searching for so many videos for this
Yes
It's working, do the multiple after closing the bracket.
Did you format the cells to properly accept AM and PM?
Jin ka formula work nai kr raha woh time ke baad space de kr AM aur PM likhen
Example:
9:00AM wrong
5:30 PM correct 9:00SpacePM
Tip:
Ziada behtar yeh hai k aap manually AM PM na likhen
Yeh option follow kren 👉🏻 number>Time>Select 1:30 PM
P.S:
Ab b agar tumhara formula work nai krta tou excel ko uninstall kar do tumhare bs ki na hai 😂
Why 8.75 on friday ? Its not possible
On Friday the person has worked for 8.75 hours (????) what does .75 means in the clock?
Hi. 0.75 (3/4) means 45 minutes.
Not calculating 12 am midnight to 12 am midnight into 24 hours it say 0 hours. Help please
Just use the formula he instructed and put: 12:00 am and 12:00 am on the cells.
I think, there was something wrong when I did mine.
some steps are missing
the correct is 41.30 hours,.
WHY NOT WORKING IN MY EXCEL :(
Why your first hour worked showing 10 minutes extra
8:00 am to 5:15 pm = 9:15 that's right but u write 9:25
