The only thing he forgot to mention that I remember is Eda getting her arm ripped off at the day of unity by Raine. So Eda’s safe from the day of unity just without an arm. And also Luz made her palicman an egg. And the collector and King will be playing “the owl house”
The only other thing is that the emperor belos goop got to the human realm and seems to be a bit less than dead
Plus poor Willow and Gus didn't get their adventures mentioned but that could just be from time constraints 😢

Keep in mind this is all one season, 22 episodes, of a tv show. And this video is almost as long as the Amphibia recap, a full 3 seasons. That’s incredible. TOH is easily my favorite show of all time

To bad Disney are homophobic and cutting the show short, and yes they have said that it doesn't fit their "style" bc it's aimed at older audiences but that's not a good enough defense to make me happy

You forgot to mention that some of Belos's sludge landed on Hunter's shoulder and made it to the human realm. That same sludge landed on the doorknob and shut the door at the end credits. Belos is not yet gone for good.

@@iceboyuno1324 Nope! It certainly is him. If you rewatch the part where king is about to push luz, and sludge slips into the portal. I'm pretty sure it landed on hunter or something, and slipped of into the human realm.
Well not where king is about to, most likely when they're all standing by the portal AFTER the collector starts to turn the world into an owl house.

can I just say: when watching the show the moment Philip was brought up I was like "ok, he's probably Bellos or one of the other established antagonist characters because that's just how this works" and was super chuffed with myself when I was proven right

In my season 1 head canon, I totally guessed Emp. Bellos was a human. Then, with the ears, it threw me off a bit but I guess I was right in the end.

I think we’ll get the first special of Season 3 being a introduction of the Human World to Amity, Gus, Hunter and Willow, while the second one being them planning to get back to the Boiling isles, by 30 minutes in they get back and the final Special is well.. the final!

when i saw belos get murdered with ease by The Collector while watching the finale, i started smiling uncontrollably. In any other death scene, that would gain VERY weird looks, but its belos, hes basically the most evil character i've EVER seen.

He reminds me of a little spoiled child who always gets his way but when something doesn’t go like he wants he gets so mean and troughs a tantrum. The scene where he cursed Luz and Lilith out was the best example. He was a little bitch the whole time and when he got his karma he had literally a tantrum.
Let me add:
- It was confirmed that both Amphibia and TOH occurs on the same reality
- A droplet of smashed Beloz fell on Hunter and seems to be in the human realm
The first one was just a Easter egg

King’s Tide gives me major True Colors vibes- in both of them characters die, and the main character gets trapped on earth with their friends with no way to go back.
And the fact that this recap seemed more simplified and rushed than the amphibia one, which was for 3 SEASONS, really shows how intense this season got.

If anyone's wondering why the second half of Season 2 felt so "rushed": Disney restructured the 3rd Season into a set of hour-ish long specials. Which, naturally, infuriated everyone; the audience, the critics, fans, the LGBTQ+ community... the people WORKING on the damn thing.
My leading theory as to why involves Bob Chapek, Ron DeSantis & the state of Florida, and LGBTQ+ content that can't be swept under the rug for the international market.
Edit: I realize that the "season" was ordered almost a year before Florida's infamous "Don't Say Gay" bill was passed. But I'm sure it was still involved, since Disney has the power to influence political action and also, unforgivably, let it happen.

I don't remember where I read it, but apparently Disney wants to get away from plot driven animated shows to focus on others with more episodic vibes. I still don't think it is a good reason to rush this, but thats the excuse they seem to be going with.
@@Noctis-fr3uc You dont even have to read it. That Disney's new marketing strategy. Well, at least for its cable channels, Disney Channel and Disney XD. Like shows like The Ghost and Molly McGee. But, don't get me wrong, i don't hate or view chatic shows to be bad. Heck, I like the ghost and molly mcgee, cuz its a fun show! But, that's just what Disney wants now so that it can appeal more and more to the younger audience. Cuz, lets be honest, the average child watching would 100% go for a show that's chaotic vs. a show like The Owl House or even Amphibia which is more serialized and have lore you need to know to watch an ep. Unless you're a huge fan of the show who knows the whole storyline, like me. But, again, most kids watching wouldn't know that stuff.

S2 didn't feel "rushed" to me at all. Yeah, a lot happened; but it didn't feel like they're going too fast or confusing. With the Day of Unity being so close, it felt natural to have all these plot-relevant things happen; and the actions/revelations of the characters didnt feel like it came from nowhere since they set it up so well.
I gotta say, that blushing joke is peak comedy
Disney has been making some good shows recently thanks for the season 2 recap going to be watching this from start to finish

They make the good shows and then one man gets to decide whether, despite said show being immensely popular, HE likes it and then goes “no >:( I don’t like.” And thus entire show is cancelled cause it doesn’t fit Disney branding.

honestly, I think you undersold the Collector when you said he stopped the draining spell, because he didn't stop it by doing anything to the spell itself, he stopped it by casually moving the entire moon

During the end credits of the finale the door in the cabin that goes to the Boiling Isles has an easter egg.
It shows the goop that Belos transformed into closing the door of the cabin in the human realm

Ya know I realized how S2 of both Amphibia and TOH are mainly about Anne and luz sorta finding a way to get home and at the end of both of our main characters and friends/family(the planters) go to the human realm so I think we know what’s happening in TOH S3

Luz's journey to get back home only became the point after the season 1 finale. Up until that point she could have gone home whenever she wanted to.

Someone I knew once said they were concerned for hooty, because he is an owl house and in the conjuring episode he was controlled by the moons power and the collector has celestial powers, hooty is super powerful, that or the giant owl drawing that is drawn around the house can be or do something, they're worried it's gonna be like amphibia where they say something in old episodes that go along with things in future episodes like Anne saying domino is the alpha the Omega and all knowing creature and then the creature that looks like domino appears in the end type of thing.

This season was INTENSE!! It left me in shock for every episode! I really miss waking up at 6:30 AM opening The Owl Club and waiting for The Owl House live stream to start (timezone differences) King being a Titan was really unexpected for me the same with Hunter being a Grimwalker I mean that and Philip being Belos was absolutely obvious but I never thought that the MOST POPULAR theories would be real!! The Boiling Isles surprised me yet again :))

He forgot to mention that when king made the deal with the collector he pinkie promised that he would play a “game” with him that he called: The Owl House and that they needed a bunch of people to play it and if he freed the people from the draining spell then they would play and that’s why king stayed behind
I have a potential theory for "The Owl House," could Luz (and humans in general) possibly be something of an amplifier for magic cast by witches? The reason I bring this up is because some of the most impressive feats (outside of Eda's) were performed with Luz either being directly involved or in close proximity to the spell being cast. Do you find this theory plausible or am I just finding something where there is nothing?
