61 Year Old Foils 2 Minute Long Wave on Second Day Ever.

This 61 Year old man came to Learn how to Tow Foil Surf with Backcountry Foil Surfing in Costa Rica. He was foiling behind his Malibu Wakesetter for about 3 years and was wondering if he had the skill to transfer into some real surf.
After day number one we established some basic concepts with regarding safety & how to begin reading dynamic waves. We also spent some time getting him tuned up with the right equipment. We found based on the conditions and his size and skill level of our rider that the WKT 122, with a single front strap & a 935 Performance mast, 70 cm fuse combination with the Surf 205 and the MA 1000 gave hime the stability and the lift to match his skill with the surf.
The results speak for themselves in this video as he navigates an almost 2 minute long ride on his second day ever tow-foiling in real surf.
