- This Exercise will give you the thickness in the Lats, if done correctly. However most of us are training this exercise incorrectly and inefficiently, involving too much lower back instead of Lats.

I really have problems with parallel to floor position and that's why can't perform heavy weight and properly this excercise. Every one is saying to keep back parallel to floor. Now I will try this. Thx for sharing ur knowledge.

Great video and good explanation.
Another trick which I use to keep the lower back out of the picture is to lie belly down on an incline bench and use dumbbells to do it. Keep your elbows near your body and shoulders down.
As our body weight is supported by the bench, there is no lower back involvement.

Idiot gym trainer in my gym told me to go parallel with floor for barbell rows and no wonder I started getting very bad lower back pain. I watched your video and relaxed the back angle to 45 degree and my lower back pain problem got fixed. Thank you for making this video you literally saved my lower back from lifelong damage. 90% gym trainers in India have no Idea about bodybuilding and half of them dont even have a fit body.

Instead of going with over hand grip , isn't it better to go with a under hand grip to target lower lats? Coz in underhand grip the elbows will be closer to body? Isn't that right?

hi Gaurav this is Dr.sidhant had question about my latissimus dorsi is uneven I.e right side is bigger than left so what should I do make it symmetrical
The bar is going at a tangent.
Movement is up & down in the line of gravity. If you are moving forward its not your lats taking the bar ahead its your anterior deltoid actually pushing the bar ahead.

because he is certified and he has lot more knowledge than that of jeet selal... i recommend u to not to follow jeet selal tips ! brah gourav taneja is full of knowledge and he proves things with science
