Overnight Wild Camp In the Rain - Bushcraft Canvas Poncho Shelter - Reindeer Stew

- Bushcraft overnight in the rain. Making a tripod shelter in a simple way to support a reflector wall. Had a eureka moment with how to string up the bucksaw! It was a pleasure sawing with it and the Reindeer stew was delicious. Im sure a few people will criticize me for sawing from the wrong side of the logs. But there really is a difference in doing things the "correct" way in your backyard in comparison to finding a stone as a saw horse in the cold and rainy forrest when you are looking for the perfect light for the shot. I choose the camera over being a correct tool man any time. Did it correct a couple of times in the end just to calm down surten individuals lol. As shelter I used the Zeltbahn ponchos again. Im amazed by the quality of this canvas! Not a drop got into the shelter!
I just love these videos. No talking, just watching and relaxing. I guess I'm lucky, living in Scandinavia :)
1stMemberEver yes mate you are!👍
You have no idea about how lucky you are
Same as me.sound of nature !
Yes. You are lucky. Beautiful land.

Watching your fire and listening to your coffee brew in your sleeping bag. PRICELESS!
Thanks! 😎
Being in Australia where it's drought & brown, bushfires & red/black right now that green just doesn't look real. Thank you for the calm & lush serenity of this vid, as a step away from that for a little bit👌
You are most welcome..take care!
That meal definitely should win a cooking award. I just wish I was around for a smell and taste. Reminds me of my mum, RIP.
Thanks!
And FINALLY a guy who puts the fire closer to his shelter
yes i like to make it smaller keeping it close, especially when you have a wind break like that which makes the fire burn nice and controlled
Man he replies on every comment, RESPECT.
U bet!
Don't worry about people criticizing you. Most of us are just happy to see someone else outdoors enjoying nature when we're stuck at home in the daily grind. Keep up the good work!
Excellent time out and about.Nice meal and quite time alone without worries. Thanks for taking us along
Thanks for watching!
Your timing couldn't be better. I needed this video today. Thanks again, brother!
You are most welcome! Thanks for watching!
Love that forest, and the sound of the hatchet cleaning branches just carried me back to another place and time. Love you videos. Thank you.
Thank you very much James!
I never get tired of watching your videos, thank you for sharing
Thank you very much!
What a great setup. The hearthstone, tripod heat reflector. Perfect for wet cold weather. That stew looked delicious. Many thanks as always. Cheers from Cape Breton Canada
great video, The soundscape was amazing, so so cool, watched it once the second time I just listened. Thank you
Thank you!!
Amazing place, it looks a lot where I go in northern Wisconsin. Thanks for the great video and taking us along...
You are most welcome James! Thank you.
Incredible channel, one of the best. From atmosphere, over camera (angels and motives), lighting and color to the food and its preparation. No unnecessary talking about random stuff, no „it’s an outdoor video so watch me film my face for 80% of the video“.
Theres genuine thought behind what he’s doing and it’s all coming together so unbelievably well. It’s on the same level as TV shows or even better than that and we can watch it for free.
Thank you so much for doing that!
The shots of pure nature, the sound of the raindrops on the tarp, it’s so immersive it feels like you are there with him...
Thank you Swedswood, a perfect start to my Saturday morning here in Florida...🌴
Thanks glad you enjoyed it!
Absolutely beautiful and amazing camp and Stew!!

The sounds of a campfire, rain and cooking food, nice!
i live in the city and i get so tired of the whole noise/traffic, so when it is weekend i usually just spend days without going outside so i could rest. too bad i can't travel and camp like this. but watching your videos gives me a chance to rest as well.

That's some good grub & "A LOT" of trees. I live in the desert & you can look through binoculars & not see a single tree for miles & miles. Thanks for all the videos you share with us & stay safe.
For a Swede you use a lot of spices and garlic! I live in Thailand and know some Swedes and Norwegians, so I know about this stuff. I love tons of garlic and chili peppers! Lots of other spices too! You are a great cook!
Thanks!
What a beautiful place to be it's absolutely silent only fire crackling the dried reindeer meat looks delicious I enjoy all your videos so much thank you for making them .

A visually beautiful film again, no sound pollution but only agreeable natural noise and a mood of soft light to die for, beautiful. I felt I was there, amazing. Thank you again. All the best. Harry.

I would imagine that in that silence you get an incredible night's sleep. That woodland is so peaceful. 🙂👍
out like that I sleep more lightly. But it seems I get the rest anyway. Probably the fresh air that makes you more alert in the day hours.
The best bushcraft video no talking great footage exlent camera work
Excellent video, they almost make me feel the forest and the taste of coffee. Thank you.
Thanks!
First time watching your video. Good job. Love the fact that you didn't utter a single word 😍. I feel like going camping this weekend. That shelter won't last 10 mins in the tropical rainforest in a heavy rain. And too many leeches will want to come and play (and suck blood). But excellent content 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Thank you!
I love watching your vids man... Your one of the best
Thank you my friend and also for your support!
i don't know why it is so satisfying to watch him 😌
