nice job Bro!
Loved my bro .
Boarding up in Canada. We say . We board . Install We don't say sheetrockers . Some boards are made called sheetrock GCG makes it I think . I enjoy your videos been at it for years . Pice worker statis hats off to your old lady pushing screws .
Dream team
Loved that 2 tune . We're it got hrader in that song. I'll board to that .
No insulation on ceilings on these houses...Great job with the drywall install. None better.
They blow them in after the drywall up.
Thanks man.
Work flow with the wife . Nice job 👍
Nice lift dude bomb 💣
That board lifter is a winner👍
Your Mrs is doing great too 👍
I'm a journeymen union metal stud framer and drywaller and I gott say James showers get down with the get down good shit man.
Yeah man great vid love the hanging part in fast forward
Nice to see you got your better half slinging screws with you.
Great video brother.. keep them coming..
👍
Awesome. Man I hate hanging two layers of rock on the lid🤮 but it’s got to be done. Rock on guys
Whew! I got tired just watching the pace at which you guys work! Only way to get done though is to 'PUSH'. It's not easy,I know but your body gets used to it. The key I've found is to not make mistakes. Go up with the board one time. If you don't measure it right and you keep having to drop the board and trim it,there goes all your production. Not to mention that it also exhaust you much more having to lift the boards twice.
Great job ,as always! Living that Drywall Life!
I remember a long time ago a guy came to your channel and told you ... "You need a panel lifter it will save you money and remove the need for two extra guys breaking their backs" . (The old timers on the channel gave the comment some gruff).. That guy even told you to buy the best "panel lift " and not waste money on knock offs ... Good work ..
I should have listened haha. The new panel lift is by far the best. Hoping to get some helpers soon but I'll continue to use the lift and save my energy for the day. Ive gotten pretty fast with the thing too.
Ok may I say that absolutely love Yuk Ching intro she was just great she should start off all of videos with something kick ass to say 😉 I mean James you did great as always love it man
Haha yeah shes a riot. I found that moment and had to make it the start!
Love the work you guys do. Very neat… where are you working out of? The scenery is beautiful compared to south Texas haha
We are in Idaho panhandle it's beautiful up here for sure
I’m new to drywalling so excuse me for this question. Why do you do you double up ceiling?
Only in the garage is 2 layers of 5/8 on the ceiling for fire codes in this area.
It creates a 2 hour fire rating when you double layer 5/8 drywall.
The building codes reflect the distance of the fire department.. And whether a ceiling needs a 1 hour or or more rating .. A 1 hour firewall has 5/8 drywall on each side of it , with a metal stud sandwiched . the 1 layer of 5/8 is rated for 40 minutes . After the fire burns through the layer the metal stud will only last 20 minutes and it will no longer hold the other side up. Thus the system is called a 1 hour wall.. With two layers the rating is now 80 minutes and then the stud burns and the structure falls .. A firewall with 2 layers on both sides is 40 minutes + 40 minutes and 20 minutes for the stud to fail .. So technically its a 100 minute wall .. But is called a 2 hour firewall.
what is the reason for a double layer of drywall on the garage ceiling?
How's working out the Nissan vs the ram you used to have?
Everything fits in the back of the truck and the canopy keep it all dry. Plus the gas millage is killer!
The ram was a diesel and I sold it when everything spiked in price. Got almost what I paid for it.
Cashed out on the little rice rocket so all in all id say the Nissan has been great. Of I could fond one with an extra cab and long bed id take it!
@@NomadicINK canopy are nice to have. My ranger came with one. One reason why I bought it
How you get connect for starter that want get own company in drywall ??
Why dont u use autofeed adapter
Isnt it much faster and convenient?
Wow how long will the lady hang in there ... 😬😬😬
I had mine for several years until she got sick. I gave her a lot of credit. All depends on how much she can take.
So I’m not the only guy out there that works with the lady gf lol 😆 hope she got better
Fucking eh from Canada
my money says, in the morning she is hard to wake up, just saying she puts out some work...
What’s the brand of that lift ?
Are you really only getting paid .22 a sq ft?
Everyone i know in spokan cda is at .30-.40 a few are even higher
Yeah Idaho wage is pretty low. Ive done a few in Spokane for .25 and Ive heard as much as .27.
Is that for just hanging?
You still in Idaho?
Yeah I'm out in idaho
@@NomadicINK hell yah you up in pf area? I'm a taper tryna find some one to bang out a remodel for me just need hung
Yeah I'm in cda. When's it going to be ready to hang? I'm starting a house tomorrow but I'd be down to check it out.
