In this raaga MSV composed another brilliant piece (a duet ) in the film Maalai itta Mangai " Naan Andri yaar thoduvar " sung by T R Mahalingam.
In "Naan Andri Yaar" song, raaga shifts back and forth between Abhogi and Valaji using Grahabedham. Absolutely brilliant composition! And MSV's another beautiful Abhogi is "Vaanakam Palamurai sonen".

There are more mentioning about carnatic music in this video, for one who doesn't know carnatic or any music theory at all, it is difficult to understand, what is pitch, Shruti or swaras. If farmae lessons classes are posted it will be better

two Telugu stalwarts singing a chaste Tamil song! did you observe in that era, Telugu singers like PBS,P Susheela,S Jaanaki,SPB,Ghantasala,Jikki,Jamunarani,S.Varalakshmi,Bhanumathimasang perfect Tamizh ? no other Tamil singer or any other language singer achieved this amount of success in singing Telugu songs. Telugu people are basically multilingual and can master languages quickly,still can you believe that most of the Malayalis and Kannadigas consider Janakima as a Malayali girl and Kannada girl! great were those timmes

ஒரு முக்கியமான விஷயம் என்னவென்றால் 1965 வரை ராமமூர்த்தியுடன் சேர்ந்து தான் msv இசை அமைத்தார். அதுவும் கர்நாடக அடிப்படையில் அமைந்த பாடல்கள் அனைத்தும் TKR கைவண்ணத்தில் உருவானது. பலே பாண்டியா படத்தில் வரும் நீயே உனக்கு என்ற பாடலும் அப்படித்தான். MSV யை புகழலாம், ஆனால் இன்னொருவரை இருட்டடிப்பு செய்ய வேண்டாமென தாழ்மையுடன் கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறேன்.
I understand your point but what you are implying is wrong. Not all the carnatic based songs are by TKR. In fact, after their split MSV has used numerous different raagas in his carrier beautifully. Though he was not well versed in theory like TKR. He had natural talent. TKR is a talented too, I am not denying it and you're asking others to be fair but you yourself making a biased assumption. Why Balamurali sir has never mentioned TKR? If it was him who composed this, definitely he would have mentioned his name too. MSV never talked about what he has achieved because his songs are proof. MSV-TKR did around 90 films but MSV has composed more than 700+ films on his own. Instead of commenting who did what, just enjoy the song.
One singer who has not been given the due recognition in tamilnadu playback singing is Mr Ananthu sir.hats off to your analytical skills .
