So, they did'nt do kerala films, they were appreciated here only
Please be advised that even though M.S.V was born in Palakkad but he migrated to Tamilnadu at his young age. But, he devoted all his life to Tamil music songs. Also, M.V.S verbal expression was more inclined towards to Tamil accent than Malayalam. In nutshell, M.S.V had devoted his heart and soul more to Tamil to create many valuable gold Tamil songs than for other languages. Even actor Rajinikanth had expressed on the open stage, feeling sad for M.S.V for not getting the recognition that he ought to have in his life.

MGR interfered too much for neerum neruppum movie and no song came well. MSV was upset with him for the reason.
Also MSV tuned brilliant songs in Ulagam sutrum valliban. MGR didn't appreciate at the time of composition, though MGR liked the tunes. That made MSV upset with MGR.
