It gives a good perspective that there are more individuals in Night City, all with their own story. Every person you kill or hurt in Cyberpunk 2077 has a life, has stories although they're criminals and/or standing in our way
I've never felt so connected to characters in such a way ever... I've always watched anime as an escape in my teen years. But growing up and seeing this show... It resonated with something inside me and I truly felt the pain... Nothing has ever made me sob like this show.. it's a masterpiece. It broke my heart, but in a beautiful way. It was meaningful, but like all good things, they end up becoming memories and all we can do is cherish those memories.
I have no idea why but ending didn't touch me so much. Maybe because I didn't watch it in one go, maybe because ending was spoiled to me, maybe both. The middle part was the best
Honestly, I don't know why but this anime is the only one who has truly managed to make me feel emotional for an anime. I have watched countless sad animes but non of them emotional enough for me. The part that makes me most emotional is how everyone dies except lucy herself which is the thing she doesn't want the most. Watching the people she love dies. I can't possibly imagine how she would feel if it was real life and I know myself I would not be able to handle it and yet she smiles in the end.

Guilty crown is a fucking trip with good music. Is also weirdly less hopeful than Cyberpunk Edgerunners. Edgerunners at least has a happiness and satisfaction within interpersonal relations even if everyone fucking dies. Guilty Crown doesn't even grasp that. It has its weird alien parasite of love.

When I first got to the graveyard area in the game I just went around to all of the crew's memorial plaks for a couple of minutes, David's mom's hit me SO damn hard
I started a new game of Cyberpunk coming back after 3 years. Finished up a quest at night and got a call from Judy starting ‘Both Sides, Now’ get in the car to fang it there as fast as I can and this song happened to play the entire way there. Hits all sorts of different now…

I get so much joy from this song, despite the amount of pain i feel alongside it. Before having seen the show and playing the game, i had already lived a life that reflects the pain of our beloved vocalist here. My best bet was to have walked away, and i couldnt do that, so i went down with her. Almost 6 years later separated from her and im better off where I am now. This song is a lovely reminder that you can always walk away. Its okay to run. Dont get dragged down trying to be the hero in someones story. Much love
I love how this whole show doesn't hold back on that plot armor shit, every death makes sense and is real. This isn't Fast and Furious, those characters are dead. Maine; Died, Rebecca? All of them. Nightcity is a dangerous lawless city filled with people just trying to make ends meet or they'll be sold off into slavery. But the one part that is saddest is Davids sacrifice, like Maine and the rest of them they all died saving someone.. Lucy was the only one who got away in the end, but it wasn't what she wanted.
