- Rob Dillingham is the best shot creating freshman in all of college ball! His talent is obvious. He is a high ceiling but low floor prospect. His shooting will have to continue to be elite and his passing will have to continue to develop. He will have to be a really good offensive player with the ability to score and facilitate at a high level. Being discipline and making the right play while being an average defender will be huge for him.

Definitely agree his defense and sometimes his unpredictability as a playmaker at times hurts his stock.
This is the opinion of someone who doesn’t watch the game. Rob has been an above average defender for Kentucky this season. And at this point his offensive game is far more mature than that of just an AAU player. He’s got quick hands, gotten a lot stronger, is laterally quick on defense and is a smart team defender. His defense hasn’t been a weakness this season.

@@reardon. he and reed sheppard have been above average defenders for them. They hustle, stay infront of their matchups and don’t get consistently beat off the drive, play passing lanes well, and both average over a steal a game in less than 30 minutes of playing time.
@@patrick05Morgan His size is still going to be a disadvantage in the NBA on defense. 6'1 and a skinny frame is easy buckets for anyone he's guarding. He might be able to keep up with guys his size but that's it
