@@Chmielu1337 For the few non set legendary armor items that have funny engravings such as sunburn resistance covered in oil, or torch damage, you dont need a spreadsheet to know they are all crap.

I still rock the pirate set as a venomous assassin. Wipe out a spot quiet like but if errors are made, I can still easily dispatch large groups. Sneaky and toxic. So fun.
Shadow of Nyx is one of those abilities completely negated by a more versatile ability, in this case rush assassination.
I still enjoy it for sneaking up on state leaders and assassinating them in the open in the middle of their guards. Combined with assassin AOE damage, I always get a good laugh.
I agree. It may not be useful, but it's fun for messing around.

9:34 for adrenaline from parry; I use the Ezio set. I primarily play the game like I would play AC 2. I get in a group, parry, counter with Hero's Strike, repeat. With the Ezio set you get that 100% cd on Hero's Strike on successful parry. The problem is that you dont get enough adrenaline on parry to activate another Hero's Strike. With adrenaline on parry as a perk you can, theoretically, just parry Hero's Strike all day. So, it's extremely dependent on playstyle but I think it can find it can be very useful.
I thought u get adrenaline firm the set but no it only resets the time pretty fkin useless 😕
once you get a 100% crit build its better cause you 1 tap anyways, so you can kill in groups instead of individual hero strikes
@@sarimveesar4350 Which, is really good, considering the original cd and the fact it uses Assassin dmg in combat. Together, with the Milanese sword (25% crit on hero's strike), Hero's Strike starts to feel hella strong. You can put adrenaline from parry on a side weapon to make up for it AND also add another 25% crit to hero's strike on that secondary weapon as well, for a total of 50% at the start of the game essentially.

@@BigMacCheese Yes, but that doesn't make this build less relevant. The two are not mutually exclusive. I guess the overall point is this; I don't think there is a meta to AC Odyssey. I dont think there is an optimal build. I think you can build essentially any way you want and do just fine at the game. I've played the Ezio style the entire way through the game with no difficulties.
I tried the Myrmydon set a day ago and found out that the legendary perk does not work. I was fighting a mercenary that used poison so being immune to poison I thought would be fun to try the set. But I still got poisoned, I still got damage from the poison. I don't know why, maybe because the merc was 2 levels above me? But still, immune to intoxication should've protected me.
I know it's a bad set, I just was curious to try the legendary perk, wouldn't have used it otherwise.
I will check that. The fire immunity is way better anyway.
I bought assasins creed origins and odyssey for £20 as they were on sale never liked Valhalla but I bought them while I wait for mirage thanks for the video !

The Artemis set is really bad dude, it contains a lot of useless engravings. And the Bighorn bow deals 4 times the damage than any other bow. You said the video helped you, but it appears you totally ignored everything that was said in the video. All videos are nightmare and the difficulty does not affect your damage.
This game is incredibly easy.
Poison set so good. You can kill high level difference on one on one simply because of debuff. Very suite for stealhly gameplay
Poison is utterly trash, the poison base damage over time is 1500 damage on level 99, which is 3 times lower compared to 4500 of fire. And you can only increase it to around 25.000 per second at best, compared to over100.000 with fire. The enemies health of the weakest enemies is 300.000 minimum. How many hours will it take for a mercenary with 3.5 million health? You will never kill anyone with poison in this, game. And the damage increase of 15% more damage is insignificant with all the damage you lose by going for a trash poison build. If you disagree with this, then you simply disagree with proven math, dude.

I wanted to love it just from a concept of a poison master assassin, but the damage truly is low. Probably going back to Ezio because that was SO fun before I got the Serpent, especially since I've worked out my adrenaline issues I had starting out. I'll probably keep my Stingers, though, to keep a bit of that poison flair.

You really don't see the values of Shadow of Nyx? For example, you can use it to easily sneak past all the guards and go straight to the brazier in a fort to lay a trap, or to easily assassinate a nation's leader without lowering the nation's power. It's also invaluable for the missions that reward you for not being seen. For example, there's a main mission in Athens in which you need to replace votes with false ones. It's impossible not to get spotted without using Shadow of Nyx because the only entrances to one of the rooms with the votes are always watched by guards, and if you get spotted, you'll get a bounty and at least 2 bounty hunters following you after the mission, which can be really bad at that point of the game.
You dont get spotted when you just kill everyone. Its pointless to use that ability. its just for people who dont know how to quickly kill enemies.
@@T7PDM Yes, you do. If you kill one of the guards near the room that I mentioned, the other one will spot you. And why would you bother killing everyone when you can just sneak past all guards with Shadow of Nyx?
Besides, it's just 3 ability points. You have way more than that left in your level 99 builds.
You just lack the abiliy or intelligence to kill them.
You can stand in front of an enemy for 8 seconds, just assassinate him, before he detects you. That was explained in the video. You only enter combat after these 8 seconds, not before. Thats why all those Shadow of Nyx players suck so much in playing this game, they dont understand when combat is actually triggered. Its not triggered when they see you. When they see you, it first triggers sixth sense for 8 seconds. You have all the time in the world to kill them. Besides that you can just shoot anyone with Ghost arrows through walls or use rush assassination.
@@T7PDM Stop acting like an arrogant asshole! I once did kill the two guards near the room that I mentioned with Rush Assassination before they "detected" me, and it still counted as being spotted. This has nothing to do with ability or intelligence. And just so you know, I AM exceptionally intelligent.
Besides, if you leave dead bodies behind, they'll definitely know that someone was there, and Sokrates basically outs you as the culprit.
Dead bodies also dont count as being spotted at all, dude. Intelligent people dont have to tell others they are intelligent.
You still did not understand that when anyone is searching for bodies or during sixth sense the game does not enter combat. The game only knows two states, combat or stealth, its a boolean value. You are either in combat or stealth. And when people pick up bodies you are still in stealth, another reason why death veil is also just a pure waste to use. It does not do anything for you. You are still in stealth anyway.
You play the game with the mindset, that only when you leave no trace behind and never get in peoples sight you are stealth, but that is not how game defines stealth. For the game stealth is as long as you did not enter combat. Thats just how the games combat system is coded, not how you are trying to interpret it.
I'm Lvl 66 I use the Dionysus set and the Renegade set, just wiped out the Gods of Aegean Sea line, I am kind of at a loss when it comes to engravings and mastery points though. Any help would be appreciated.

Helios set is really good. You mentioned it's bad cuz it gives 200% dmg while on fire and not often u will be on fire during the battle? well the solution is, get the Helios bow which will set u on fire on successful Perry + 600% Adrenaline !!! meaning u will never run out of adrenaline on the battle. It's actually really good set

The bow is also trash, parry is trash, you wont get 100% crit chance while burning and the low health engraving on the helmet is an absolute rubbish joke. Get yourself some decent knowledge.
Besides that you should use the Bighorn bow anyway and just make a better build. So if you come across a mercenary you want to set yourself on fire before just oneshotting him.... yeah sure, that is just insanely stupid.
@@T7PDM It's just a matter of play style tho. I like doing worrier build, and I usually find myself in 1 v 5 situations with enemies who are much stronger than me or could kill me with three or four shots. And I like to brute force my way out rather than one shooting every with strategic assassin attacks or massive one-shot Crit. Because of that, I often do Perry and dodge and get 600% Adrenaline on every Perry is an op skill cuz I can keep spamming my skills. Also it set me on fire so I get 200% dmg on every hit.
In that case, I could tell that your so call best set (Nemean lion set) would be an absolute joke since more of it engraves work only on full hp. Once you take an arrow, and all of a sudden, three of ur engrave become totally useless and u get no more crit. And with my way of playstyle, I could never see myself in full HP through out the battle. But yeh I agree that it could totally be the best dmg build if you are going to kill everyone with one shot or fighting an enemy of the same level or lower. It's a matter of play style. Respect other people's opinions rather than saying rude stuff in ur comments.

All sets are still available. If they are not in the store then you already own them, check your owned tab, check your inventory, check your ship.

Its horrible cause i really want to play Assassin actually in my playthrouth but the appearance of the Dionysos set looks horrible, but Nemean Lion looks very great and don't want to buy both for only the appearance😅
You could use the Ezio set or pirate set and use anything else as transmog. Even with the Nemean lion set with the correct builds from this channel you will always have enough assassin damage to kill everyone.

@@rypper1817 What are you looking for as an assassin? All your excess damage goes to nothing when you assassinate someone. The Nemean Lion set with Korfu engraving and falx will kill mercs with a normal assassination without using a single assassin damage perk. You will have 500% assassin damage anyway. @@T7PDM Like I said I already have my build. I'm "new" at the game i just recently buy it on my PS4 cause my PC is to old for appreciate the game at his all potential. So there is no point for me at the moment to play a build who makes the nightmare mode an easy mode. I see nothing benefit to me to one shot Medusa in 1 minute, at my level. It's more fun to see the all fight and kill her like the developers wants.

The best armor is not a Helix store item or from Sargon. It's a gift from the Ubisoft club and it's free. That's right the iconic Ezios set, from AC Revolution, 2 and Brotherhood respectively. I used it it's very op and helped me fight the Arc boss in Atlantis.
Best legendary set is Nemean Lion set and there is no debate about it. Ezio set is close but not the best. Watch the video and check the resource table.

Counter to the pilgrims set slander: fun
The pilgrim set is a noob set for players who love to sacrifice 5 items and all their engravings for a single ability that stands in no relation to what they lose. Just use the reduced consumption on epic items and call it a day, if you really need to.

You can apply the pilgrim set ability to any other item and the ability itself can be used even without the pilgrim set.
Obviously damage is what you need to kill your enemies and cloaking is not the requirement, I have never cloaked any enemy to death yet.
You can almost infinitely cloak without using the set. Its nonsense to use the pilgrim set. Just a single tap on the ability gets you immediately out of combat. Thats all you need it for. No need to use it for 5 minutes straight.

Get the Bighorn bow, dude. No other bow is ever needed.

You can engrave permanent fire on any bow, so if you have the Bighorn bow, you can use it there.
The Agamemnon set bonus can similarly be added to any other items, which are better.

Daggers are the worst weapon type, they deal half the damage than any other weapon, they have no range and a bad mnoveset. Daggers will not improve your assassin damage or nor will they do anything good for you. Just use a sword.

@@ultrashak I would actually recommend to use the free Ezio set with Heitors Harpe and the Sword of Axon, because that set has a damage with swords bonus and works well with these two weapons.

The glowing spear is an ability called "Ares Madness", the enhanced version of battlecry and you get it in the Atlantis addon.

Basically all Hunter sets are trash due to the immense amount of useless engravings and you dont need hunter damage when you play with the bighorn bow. You need only warrior damage for shooting your arrows.

10 sec burning duration is not a bad perk its one of the best with full set of agamemnon armor at level 30 i could burn a level 50 plus merc to the ground an just sit there an watch him burn an screaming come on man............
You have no idea what is possible in this game when you always stick to these legendary sets. You can easily have over 300,000 warrior damage in your inventory. Which gives you over 40 million damage per hit. It kills Medusa in a single hit. How does that compare to an Agamemnon build? Otherwise it really feels like an insane waste of time to play for 3 years without even having improved your build without even having used epic items. The goal of an RPG is to get stronger and more efficient. Its not the goal to stay weak. Thats just an excuse for those who dont want to put the efforts into becoming better.

If I was to start the game from scratch the pilgrim set would be my first target it's called assassin's creed even when there's a warrior option I rather play stealthy.
You dont need the set to play stealthy. Except if stealth for you means being miraculously invisible to your enemies and you want your enemies to forget that you just ran around a corner. The pilgrim set is one of the lowest damage sets in the game. Just use an assassin set or even better make yourself a powerful epic assassin build. The perks and the amount of them matters 10 times more than a setbonus.

Im trying to use the greek heros set with the immunity to fire and intoxication, but they arent showing up in my engravings list. Do you know why it could be doing this? Also love the content
You dont own the sets which unlock it. Myrmidon set -> poison immunity, Herakles set -> fire immunity.

Movement speed is working, but its absolutely rubbish, so why do you even ask? Nobody should use it anyway.

Because I call it what it is. You dont need the set to use that ability, and if you would make a proper build, then you wont have to hide in bushes all day.
It's really dumb that epic items outclass legendaries. There's no way that makes any sense in any other game

Like in any other game it is never the color that makes items good, its always the perks on them.

@@T7PDM don't know what does DoT mean. I used Mallet of Everlasting Flame + Agamemnon. Was so effective, that game became boring. All mass battles became "press button to win".

You just have to play efficiently then you can beat the whole game and all addons and be level 99 in less than 60 hours: XP grinding is for noobs. its a waste of time, when you can simultaneously just play the game, stack contracts and level up like a madman.
