I know a lot of people hate this game, but this game holds a special place in my heart. I was at a really bad point in my life, and this game was so large that I could just forget all my problems and just sink myself into this massive game and all it’s stories and dlc. I could understand peoples issues with it, but I just adore this game so much.

Man ive completed most AC games ( AC 1-Valhalla) this year and i thought the RPG games would suck so much but i really like them i only dislike 1 AC game and its Liberation. Love Valhalla so far @@IronsideGeorgel

I love, love, love the look of the dwarven axe! I pretty much used it for my entire playthrough once I got a hold of it, and transmogged it onto other dane axes if I wanted to play around with their perks.

Yngling Seaaxe and Sttunger's claw are my favorites. Dual wielded daggers. Upgrade them, get dagger and crit perks, and apply runes.
They are just so fast and leave your enemy stunned.

It's only 82.2 attack damage for me.
Just started playing this game recently cause it was only $15. Around 30 or so hours in now and still in the early game, which feels crazy to say. While the sheer volume of content is daunting, it's kinda nice to know I'll have something to chip away at for a while and try a large variety of builds in. Similar to Elden Ring, I just love dual wielding. Done double axes, double greatswords, and double spears so far, with spears definitely winning due to the combination of speed and power. Only have Fafnir and Fyrd so far, but excited to find more later.
I'm actually so jealous you've just started playing - it's honestly the biggest game I've ever played - 450 hours and counting over here! Enjoy it!
@@IronsideGeorge Minus the heavy amount of technical issues on the PS4 version, it's been quite enjoyable. Just started the Isle of Skye questline today. Decided to spend my UBC points on the Eclipse scythe since there's very few scythes available without the DLC and wanted to try it. Decided to pair it with the Sepulcher axe. They look badass together and are really fun to cleave through groups of enemies with.
I initially had this game on Xbox One, and later got it for PC. The difference between loading speeds and overall game performance was insane. Still
Good none the less though.
Good choice on the weapon I reckon, you’re right, most of the scythes are from the Siege of Paris DLC so you made the right call. If you have any spare points, highly recommend the Dawn Blade, Arcstrider of Dwarven Axe!
@@IronsideGeorge Will definitely look into those. I got the Leonidas Spear and yeah, it is crazy broken. At just power 120 I beat the level 340 witch using it. That and the fully enhanced armor you get from helping Roshan has really broken the game in 2 for me. Probably gonna mess around with weaker builds for a bit to not fully remove the tension from fights. lol
Honestly, for a long time I stopped wearing armour - I assume you're playing on the hardest difficulty too? If you're not, you should!

Just randomly going going through the game ive mamaged to get the sword from the tombs, the spear of leonidas and the lightning spear thing which is mad but i also have the ragnorok and the wrath of the druids dlc which i havent started which i will be sure to get on
My end game build are using both Gae Bolg off hand and Gungnir main hand. Has been served me very well to kill every enemy and boss easily.

@latj16x I use two from Mentor Armor Set, two from Fallen Hero, and 1 random armor with good stats. I love the set bonus of those.
Also, I added 2 Great Stun Rune on Gae Bolg, so its really effective to the point that 1 thunder can make normal enemy stunned.
@@lucarion__ bet ima add the stun runes to my spear i ain’t have them equip on it & I think the best armor to rune with it is the set you get from basim teacher I forgot her name but yeah im a stealth kinda player that’s why I use her armor it works good asf for assassin stealth attack

Currently using the blazing sword paired with the blacksmith hammer rn, just over 40 hours in and there is not sight of ending this game anytime soon

I have 278 hours without siege of Paris or ragnarok, lots to do.
So far, I bought Arcstrider and the Striking Bolt spear. I dual wield them both and it has been insane, beat the poison witch on hard difficulty at power 30. I used the helix credits that ubisoft gave for free in origins, odyssey, and now valhalla lol!
Also make sure to connect with Ubisoft to get your rare rewards and a weekly surprise item. I recently got a shattered sword that breaks apart upon a parry, doing area damage. Enjoy.

the fallen hero set is awesome. everytime you get hit. the armor drops a bomb lol

#5 Gungnir is without a doubt the best weapon in the game as it make any boss battle easy. So many difficult bosses I kill easy using this weapon. I've also paired it with Excalibur but now that I have Mjolnir, i'm switching them up.

Hey dude - I've been working on this one since before Mirage came out; and wanted to power through and get it finished! Plus; with Mirage, as it's such a small game, there isn't a tonne of content that can be made on it other than stealth videos (which I may try again, though my other one didn't perform that well) Is there anything from Mirage you might want to see?

There is one more weapon not on the list since Leonidas' spear is in the top 3, we could also add the hero's sword which has the same advantages, it is a one-handed sword :)

You can also get the Gae Bolg spear by killing all the members in the order of children of danu in ireland. I got it like that in the early stages of the game

I'm playing this game and even though other people say the game is bad, I really enjoy it and when I found out there was a gae bolg weapon I planned to get it but for some reason the dlc wrath of the druids makes me unable to enjoy the game and always sleepy

How do I unlock the final quality of the weapons or armor, because if I go to the blacksmith I can upgrade the weapons or armor up to excellent quality but the final quality doesn't work for me
Leonidas Spear by it's self, I just use the hidden blade with it
I have a question that I couldn't find my answer to online. Does the items that are found in the in-game merchant store be found in the world? I am not talking about Reda. I am talking about the merchant we can spent our silver on. Items also include Cosmetics as well.
Good question, and the answer is no. Merchant items are only obtainable via the merchant. You won’t find them anywhere else ✌️

@0:52 the warhammer? i would argue that the "blacksmith's hammer" , fully upgraded is far better as it immediately stuns with a heavy hit. you didn't mention "the thunderer" axe or the "angel axe" . thunderer axe looks awesome as it always looks like it has electricity flowing through it ; when not even being used. everytime the enemy gets hit. a lightning bolt comes out and strikes him lol. the angel axe is another short axe; that when used; this light comes down and starts burning other enemies around you. its not like the one weapon where the light only targets one creature. this light is an AOE effect. awesome! not even mentioned :(

It’s pretty great, though I reckon dual spears is better 😛 dual Short swords is also great. You should try a short sword in the right hand and a spear in the left - that slaps

for new players if you want the best spear in the game it’s the gae bolg but you have to buy the wraith of the druids dlc in my opinion that dlc is worth it cause you get the best spear in the game ain’t nothing powerful then that spear especially when you pair it with odin spear
Actually spear of leonidas has the same exact stat of gae blog when maxed out. The only thing gae blog does is shock the enemy which doesnt seem to do much to high level enemies. However spear of leonidas boosts your melee, range and ability damages. In my opinion spear of leonidas is the best spear in the game and you dont have to get any dlc to get it. Gungnir (odins spear)is overrated.

I agree, the sword of Kings was the only weapon really mentioned in the whole show too, although they didn't initially have one handed swords in the game.

Just started this gaime. Gotta get a spear as soon as possible. I'm a spear guy. All through ac origins and odyssey all I used was a spear. I'd get a new legendary weapon like a sword or something. I would try it out for a minute. Be like "cool". Put it away and whip out my spear again.

All weapons are viable just use what you find coolest. Me personally i went for gold weapons because i had a black and gold outfit
Also I decided on a weapon combo that makes the most sense for the uses of your weapon. Since you smash boxes and iron ore and door blocks alot I chose my secondary to be a hammer.
Then for my primary I thought what would make the most sense to pair with a hammer. A medium sword made the most sense.

If you own the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC, some weapons will automatically change to divine ✌️

Good question. Honestly, my opinion would be to save your money. But… if you’re desperate to buy something, the destiny 2 weapons pack is by your best bet with the arc strider spear and the Dawn blade sword. Hope that’s helpful ✌️

Yes bud - your skill tree has tonnes of smaller “skills” for you to unlock, lots of them increasing your stamina - consider wearing different armour and carrying lighter weapons too ✌️

put it in the spear of loonidas
get excalibur and extract its rune at the rune forge
put it in gae bolg
dual wield gae bolg and spear of leonidas
and you have yourself the strongest melee setup in the game.

Someone please help. I have yet to get a tungsten ingot. I'm only power 90 but I found plenty titanium. I searched the chest in Jorvik it was supposed to be tungsten. It was nickel also.

I have the blazing sword divine form , but even though it is a divine form, it has 137 attacks at maximum development. How does it get 162 attacks? Can someone please help?
It’ll likely be because my character is hundreds of levels above yours. Have you unlocked every skill? My Eivor is like 400 something plus a load of mastery points too.

The blacksmiths hammer outclasses the war hammer by 1000 times over
The weapons are great, it's upgrading them that's ridiculous. Farming enough titanium without buying it is a major grind. What's the point of having several great weapons and Armors if you can't upgrade them.

Is Excalibur is a rock cause from what I can tell the only sword in a rock was the blazin sword I haven’t found either weapons yet and I got I’ve 186 hour in Valhalla. If Excalibur isn’t in a rock that means ubi screwed up on the encounter cause we all know that Arthur puts the sword into rocks and the only people able to weld it are ones with royal blood also it’s said to use 2 hands on the handle and evior uses one which makes it that much more confusin also evior isn’t part of royalty so how would she even be able to weld it

@@IronsideGeorge yeah it definitely doesn’t take anywhere close to an hour for each tomb. I’ll admit that there’s a few that have some tricky parts but they were all pretty easy to complete.
They should have so much kept the odyssey system which was much better
Only thing that I don't like about this game is when you get some great name to fight by your side in some quest, all they do is fucking stand like npc and keep getting easy hits for eg, Sigurd, Bjorn the berserker, etc. and do nothing. Like i wanna see how you call yourself godly but do no sht.
Instead characters like Ivor and Basim actually help in the fights very strongly and effectively.
