This is the final part of restoring Mr Croxton. We apply a barrier varnish and begin the retouching process. We restore the antique carved frame and then start to look a little more closely at where he has come from and see if we can pin point further who he is through family connections and think about who the artist may possibly be.

Great restoration. Your detective work is very interesting. I have a light hobby of tracking down people (not for nefarious purposes) with whom I’ve lost contact and have had a lot of success.
