Hello Faraam! Thanks for giving the basic breakdown. I will say this - the animations are wonderful and the armor looks great. I really wish they would stop with the new characters and give us some new maps instead, though... but that doesn't make money I suppose.

Moves than Displace should have their own symbol and color like unblockable and undodgable attacks. Imagine a little green symbol and green effect of the weapon when a move will displace. Or even red like guardbreak.
I was thinking the same thing, if in the future more heroes will receive this aspect and become more universal it would make sense to give it some sort of indicator, and if not then I guess the next best thing is to make it only on unblockables
@@motoweebman1944 I feel like it’s confusing for new players when a normal attack hits them into a wall and they eat more damage. It makes not knowing every single moveset a lot more punishing and just widens the learning curve of the game. I’d want to see a CCU -type update giving unique interactions like Displacing attacks and especially attacks with I-Frames more intuitive to understand. If you cant hit me during an attack that’s definitely something that should be indicated to the other person, especially since I frames are not universal on dodge attacks, and are even on attacks that have no dodge input at all like Nobushi’s bleed light after her kick, and her and JJ’s hidden stance. There should be color indicators when special properties are added to any move.
I think it wouldn't be green but red.A green attack would be a combination of a bash and an undodgeable,an overpowered move😅(would act like a grab) .But jesus told me in my dreams that this would come out for shaman or nuxia pray with me🙏🏾🙃.

For the OOS throw punish you always want to back throw because that's the only direction where you can do top heavy opener if your guard has been top before the guardbreak and also it's the only direction where you can change stance to left (which does a little more damage) and still get double heavy

I’ve noticed the right-dodge heavy is way less choreographed than the left, the spin starts at the very end of the move.

@@darkdaubeny normally I’d say no, but with her heavy finishers having 3 unique properties based on which side they’re from, I can see them adding things like that to other moves.

Truly some of the cleanest animations in the game. I love the knee kick, the mace / shield concept and of course the fashion. All in all she looks really fun to play and I’m looking forward to tomorrow.
I just don’t really understand, why the confirmed top heavy after the bash is undodgeable… if it’s guaranteed anyways… what should the opponent dodge away from? The responsibilities?
perhaps to be used in anti-ganks. you can bash one opponent and then swap lock and get a cheeky heavy on the other. or maybe since it’s already undodgeable on normal chains they just saw no reason to remove it for the bash

After getting a wallsplat after finisher heavy, couldnt you just bash into another finisher heavy? So you can basically spam this over and over until you have stamina?

I have a question, after the "shinobi flip" can you perform a heavy finisher? will it be the "normal" finisher with normal damage output or will it be like after the bash?
After the flip you can either do your knee bash which leads into the fast heavy finisher like after the neutral bash (16/18 dmg) or you can use any of your openers

15:07 wouldn’t in theory this be a better oos punish since the bot is set to parry, he should’ve parried that, but he didn’t meaning that’ll do a little bit more dmg and it might even fake out real people into thinking they can parry it which you can then punish? Or am I thinking too deep into it
When he parried the bot it made the light parry sound effect, which means the bot was set to crushing counter him, not parry and warden can only cc top guard. You can also see the guard indicator return before his attack lands, which means it should have been able to parry him.
Can she do infinite punish with wall splat? Like "wall - right roll - guarant bash - heavy wall"
Seems like it. Considering the massive combined damage and the fact that she also has a choice between a bash and an undodgeable heavy, her moveset may very well be even more annoying than Mr. Shinobi's Wild Ride. Definitely way stronger than a lot of other heroes' punishments. From what I've seen, I'd call Afeera borderline OP - but we're yet to see the final release.

She guarantee a heavy after all her bash? It's cool and all since the damage is only 16 but the properties she has on her left side heavy finisher that can wallsplat and give you another heavy, is pretty crazy. Unlike Lawbringer's impaled from heavy parry, this one you can spam it until your stamina runs out. I hope that is a bug. And thank god she didn't have hyper armor.

ay yes shinobi cancerous mix-up, except now you can't even escape it or out space it. now with added superior block safety and the ability to do it from neutral! It definitely won't be another hero that makes people dashboard.

A-fear-a that she will be too 1-dimensional and gimmicky with so many unblockables and no hyper armor. She has so much variety, but in the wrong places I feel. I love that she has a shield without having full guard, but armor on shield based moves would be nice to utilize it more in a unique way.
I feel like Hyper Armor shouldn't be a big tool for Hybrids. Like if you want Hyper armor I think you should be user heavies or Vanguards
she can get heavy attacks... on heavies parries? and her bashes grantees heavies? am i the only one that feel that, that to much?

The kick, knee-kick, bash, frontal charge make her so badass but her acrobatic recovery cancel and throws are too much in my opinion (the animations). Like she seems ferocious and immovable until she is doing those, now she look like the average dodge monkey enjoyer and that make her meh. From choices they could have do something else.
