As a pirate main, dodge cancel is 80% of the moveset because of how much you can tweak and freak out and it actually terrifies people. You can tell a pirate is good based on how many dodge cancels they do in a fight ngl.

They needed pirate so much and their kit isn't that expensive so they are limited to the cancels and feints

I reach rep 70 for pirate and ever since the previous update they add the hero skin for pirate name Yinchen, now I play her even more. Also they buff her a little bit

P.S. It's funny to hear "I don't feel bad 'cause it's a Medjay" and then I realized that this saying applies to basically all of the newer heroes. Afeera's a bitch to deal with, Pirate is simply annoying, Medjay has Hyper Armor utopia (for now), etc, etc

Why the heck did they give PK a bash. Literally all 'Hero Rework' means now is giving/improving a neutral bash instead of addressing the issues the heroes actually have
They gave her the worse bash in the game, you can’t feint it, it’s slow and they said it’s only for 4v4
They gave pk a bash because of the issue she has with people externaly blocking all her attacks in 4v4. She legit can't do anything when people do that. With the bash, she can actually apply bleed on targets whitch will allow her to go into her unblockable attacks. Also, it's a slow bash. It's gonna be useless in a 1v1.
Its not that big a deal. She didn't need a rework anyways. She's already strong in 1v1s. Just as others said, her problem is in 4v4s, where you can just externally block a pk and never have to worry about any of her moves. With this bash you either have to dodge or eat bleed, which then let's her use unblockables. I kind of agree with making the bash slow because it would be way to strong to have it fast and apply bleed. The only thing it needs to keep it from being trash is a decent recovery on miss given how slow it is.
In order to have an opener when it comes to gank, so she won't get external the whole gank. The bash won't be useful during duels. That what JC said afterwards.
@mena10ss but she's not good in 1v1s, she's average at best and quite easy to deal with if you train against her DC mixup, you'll see how is it is win against her and see that she really needs help in 1s to
The skin is surprisingly cheap, just 17 ish days of casual play.

Would love to see you play using a random wheel of debuffs that must go for every game. It would make an entertaining video.
Here are some debuff examples you can use:
1- Punish every parry with lights
2- Punsih GBs with lights (laughs in peacekeeper)
3- Cannot use chain heavies
4- Cannot parry
5- Cannot bash
6- Cannot faint
7- Cannot open with lights
8- Cannot zone
9- Only use lights
10- Cannot dodge attack/bash
11- Faint all unblockables
12- Cannot attack when opponent is OOS
13- Forfeit the round when you go OOS
14- Must end the round with a finisher
