  • The Indian Scout lineup has been redesigned for model year 2025, ushering in a new generation of Indian Motorcycle’s best-selling platform. The lineup includes five distinct models, all featuring the heavily updated SpeedPlus 1250 V-Twin, a new tubular-steel frame, and other changes.
    We got the chance to ride all five models and came away impressed. Take a ride with us as we review the trimmed-down Scout Bobber, the traditional Scout Classic, the light-touring Super Scout, the spirited Sport Scout, and the top-of-the-line 101 Scout.

    Rider Magazine 2025 Indian Scouts Review - Well worth a look if you are considering one of these wonderful machines. Personally, I consider all these machines as my next Indian - At the moment of writing I kind of lean towards the Bobber.

    I love the 2025 scout bobber with less electronic gizmos, when I purchase one I hope they not charge for mid-foot controls. I took great pains on my 2023 FXST with an upgrade to a stage 3 119 C.I mill and low drag bars...This 2025 scout bobber has all this at a great price. As far as sport riding I will keep my 2018 Kawasaki Zed 900 naked sport for that. bought that back then because of the less electronics and the 31.3 seat height. LOVE THESE NEW SCOUTS, Wish Harley would take the hint and revamp their sportster, Thanks, Rider Magazine.

      HD softail standard, my dear, will do better than the old sportster. And still has nothing to do with this type of bike. Ridiculous what people compare and haven’t even experienced it in real. All clueless BS.

    The original 101 was a beefed up engine in a lighter and nimbler chassis than other scouts, here I see the same heavy chassis with more stuff on it and mapping-wise engine topping. 101 became a style name, only, now.

      You missed the fully adjustable suspension front and rear with radial mounted calipers. Its a pretty big jump in overall bike performance (which means more than just engine performance) over the other models.

    Gotta rid that bike of the beefy end exhaust. Especially on the 101 which is a mean looking machine. The exhaust kills it!

      Stock exhaust is ugly on essentially every bike. They need to meet emissions to sell it.

    Less visual weight - BS - just look at the water bowls called cylinder and the locomotive pipes, on picture really hilariously unbalanced. Hope it looks better in real.
