If you watched my last video where we installed a Eonon GMA 12S-U Head Unit in my Truck, then you might remember me mentioning that would be installing a tailgate back up camera in a future video. I figured it would be a good time to do so as a follow on video! So in today's video we are Installing an Eway Tailgate Latch Backup Camera in a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500!

The kit pretty much comes with everything you’ll need, but I’d recommend some zip tie’s.
hey man you were actually the reason i bought the head unit and installed it in my 08 chevy but i have a question on the backup camera does it come with the handle for the tailgate or you have to use the stock one because im looking into getting a chrome one but worried it will not come with the handle to bring the gate down
It doesn’t come with the handle unfortunately.
You’ll have to get one separately. It’s a fairly simple install.
Did you connect any of the wires in the back of the truck or just the the male connector and 12v
