Great 4WD Day Out On The Back Beaches Of ROBE.

This was a great day out on the back beach 4WD tracks out of Robe in South Australia.
I hooked up with another group who were in town, so i was able to tag along with there group.
I headed out for a day trip with a group of people that i met while i was staying in Robe.
The beach driving trip that we did headed out towards Beachport.
It's a very scenic drive along rugged cliff tops that run down onto a several sections of short beach runs in very soft sand.
I wouldn't recommend driving the trip that we did on your own.
The beach sand on some sections is very soft and even lower down the beach where you would expect the sand to be a lot firmer, it sure wasn't.
I'm running 15psi in my tyres, and that pressure for my 4WD worked really well.
Make sure that you check the tide times before taking on the beaches around Robe.
Have all of your recovery gear handy, just incase either your 4WD gets bogged or you need to help in the recovery of one of your mates.
This was a bucket list trip for me, i have been wanting to visit Robe in South Australia for many years, and now i have been i will return next year for sure.
