Something similar happened to me once, what I ended up doing was walking in circles and changing directions randomly. It annoyed them enough to a point where they realized they're wasting their time.

I never had this problem at sharm el sheikh, I ended up sitting outside a jewelry shop on a shopping strip near my resort drinking Egyptian coffee. One guy was called shaggy the other Mr boombastic đ I went and gave them my holiday clothes before I left, they were great fellas!
