now that i think about it, if they gave Roman a few minutes to roast Philadelphia, just like Freckles, Bill Burr over here once did, he would got over instantly, and the next day he would be treated as biggest hero ever.
Bryan was wrong about one thing, Roman got booed when he won Superstar of the Year or something. It was a dumb Slammy that he won before his push, and everyone booed because they knew that he was now gonna be the next John Cena.
For me it started when he went away with an injury in late 2014 and every now and then they did some stupid satellite interviews where he cut some blunt babyface promos.
The Ascension were instaburied in the main roster, despite being HUGE in NXT. And they didn't even use Konnor later, despite him being right in Vince's league in terms of body shape.
This was almost six years ago and they've learned nothing.

I was at this show and the first thing I did when I got home was cancel the network. I've never looked back.
