I am speechless! You are a genius for having figured out this carb inside out in the age of fuel injection, and whoever designed and built this thing 40 years ago without the help of a computer was an engineering God.
So appreciated, Thanks! I have my 75 carb in pieces and now soaking. rebuild kit here, found the manual with infor for rebuilding. lining the carb dip basket with screen material for some of the smaller parts not in the rebuild kit.
I'm trying to smog my '78 Travette Toyota motorhome with this carburator. Secondary throttle vacuum diafragm is not supported anymore, i tried napa, oreilly, autozone, etc. Also not available in a kit. After a complete cleaning/rebuild, can't get it to idle anymore. Idle screws are in all the way. Before smog check it ran fine btw...
you reckon?? The emulsion tubes only have 2 holes! weber carbs pepper the emulsion tubes with holes that why they go better and use less fuel the vapour burns not the liquid , toyota must have shares in the oil companies
Thanks so much man this was much better than the Haynes repair manual! Great Help!
