I literally just bought my PC parts with the 7600 XT 5 min ago lol
CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X
MOBO: AsRock B650M Pro RS
RAM: T-Force 32GB(2x16GB)
GPU: AsRock Steel Legend RX 7600 XT 16GB
Case: SAMA AR01-RGB-White
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower 850W Gold
SSD: WD 2TB M.2 2280
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240L Core White AIO
Nice
Have the same CPU and power supply. Enjoy!
That steel legend card looks beautiful
Sick build potna
Clone build
I honestly thought Centric was going to crack a fart the way he leaned in for that noise test.
There's a wrong answer. A proper gamer on a budget wouldn't care if their system is dead quiet or not. But they would care not to put ddr5 4800Mt Cas40 16gb ram in their system
Literally every GPU launch last month could rival the 4060 on how ‘just buy the [insert gpu here]’ they were wtf
Was watching pccentric videos, another one pops up in my feed :O it's like you kneeeew lol
I love the video on the Rx 7600 Xt and like how you presented the performance on different settings, I feel as though for people who do buy it like myself it can improve with further driver updates and I would love to see things like AMD's fluid motion frames in a test build (I currently can't get too much performance out of it because my cpu is lacking, however I feel it is justifiable over time)
About the Displayport 2.1 spec on this card: no it's not like you'll run your games at 4k resolution at those framerates. But it is nice to have when you just use your PC for work on higher resolution displays. Your entire OS will feel much, much better at higher refresh rates. When you're gaming just lower your games resolution to 1080p or maybe up to 4K with FSR Performance upscaling.
i admire the vids you make .. I don't know why I didn't sub sooner
Thanks for talking about the standoff that catches the motherboard. No one talks about them, and I thought they were defective standoffs when I built my first PC! I wasted lots of time replacing them on my first build.
I like this case Marcus!
In the U.S. it's about a $60 price increase over the 7600, which basically is just the cost of the extra VRAM.
Always get the extra VRAM
Extra vram will make your GPU last 2 years longer than usual. Also games are badly optimised today
@@manumudgal5776 I think that's a valid point to consider.
@@mr.guillotine3766 In my region 7600xt is 50$ less than 6700xt, it's tragic
I've been watching tons of GPU benchmark gameplay videos in preparation for my next upgrade. Games at 1080p are allocating more than 8Gb of VRAM. Especially those PS5 console ports, if you don't believe , just search for some gameplay benchmarks at 1080p and look at the VRAM usage.
You should read about how you can overclock ps5 controllers to 1000hz on PC. I know a lot of people like myself are going from consoles to pc but that doesn’t mean I’m going to start playing everything with a keyboard, I still use a controller for everything especially cod and overclocking your controller helps sooo much with input delay
Also wanna add that I know it says you can overclock a Duelsense to 8000hz but in some hz testing software it only ever shows 1000 and that idk why that would be something you could maybe figure out tho lol
you cant overclock to 8000hz thats just the polling rate of usb that can be oced to that
What Benchmarking software are you using?
I really wanted to keep the case I had but for some reason when I ordered the AP201 from Amazon it arrived with no side panel bought a darkrock case and then returned the Asus one once the other case arrived. 😅 maybe I’ll order this if a customer requests it.
I plan to use this case in my next build. How does the temps looks like with just a cpu cooler and one fan? Would you recommend additional fans, if yes how would you place them?
You can never have to many fans unless you are min maxing your power supply, so I would never feel shame if you wanna add more, but I'm sure for his setup the amount built in is more then fine. I'd add a few more, but Im a streamer so I am going to be pushing the computer alot harder then your average consumer..
I am sorry for the offtop but can you give me advise? I bought myself MSI Ventus 2x 4060 (got a great deal on it) and it runs a 1-2 degrees hotter and fan's rpm in a full load is a bit higher than in every review. I have it in my old rig for now - it's a mid tower case but my cpu is working very-very hard and it seems standard intel box cooler can't keep up.
Do you think if I get a proper tower cooler it will fix the temperature inside the case and therefore slow gpu's fans a bit? Or my gpu is just loud?
It could help but the airflow in the case is key. Adding some quality casefans could lower temps for both cpu and gpu.
Glad to see AP201 still being loved. I chose this case for my first gaming PC build in 2022. It has given me a lot of enjoyment. Absolutely love it.
Wil this pc be future proof for 1080p Gaming , high fps Warzone ?
Went from Intel Arc A750 LE to Asrock Steel Legends Rx 7600 xt performance was noticeable straightaway.
Hey Man, Great build video. Just wanna ask what are thoughts pairing this 7600 XT gpu with a Ryzen 5 5600?
Be a perfect build you’ll get really high frames like 100fps and above at 1080p or 1440p would be around 60-70 fps
hi dude, would you like to light me up? I'm looking forward to build a desktop computer for Adobe Photoshop and advanced design tools like Adobe Illustrator and i want to know which configuration is right for me.
this dude look like every spiderman put together
So although it has the VRAM spare, but because of the limited BUS size, I guess it isn’t a wide enough BUS to push that VRAM through on Starfield
the vram isnt for gaming its for productivity, like blender and davinci resolve
I’m waiting for Antec’s version of the AP201 for about 1/2 the price of the Asus AP201
What’s it called
I almost bought it for my new pc build literally last weekend. Glad I didn’t. Went the 4060 over clocked 8gig of vram from gigabyte. Will upgrade later but for now it’s fine.
I just ordered 6700 XT for the additional horsepower to play 1440P on my travel rig. Cost roughly about the same price.
Travel rig? Please explain more...
@@DerekReelzprolly some small form factor pc that he brings when he travels
@@MuttMomentum that's what I need.
Damn in my country 6700xt is literally 2x, 7600xt is 360 euro 6700xt IF available is 500-650, they are crazy here
My system is identical but I only have a 500w psu will I be able to run a rx 7600 xt or will I have to upgrade my psu?
So all the parts in this build, are equal to what my rig (will have) when I finish building it this week when the graphics card comes in the mail.
Only thing I would suggest is going for 32 GB of ram instead of 16 and getting more then a 500 gb SSD, or going for a hard drive for mass storage and just using the SSD as a boot drive. Other then that this setup is sick!
How do you build pcs without fans?
New to pc building and looking to build my first one, where in the UK is best to buy parts from? Also I’ve noticed when looking at GPU’s, there are different brands selling the same card, is there much or any difference or is it purely aesthetic? Thanks
Welcome to the club, i use scan, box and novatech when i buy pc parts mate and i'm in England

@@funzil287where’s best for used parts, eBay etc?

@@agab3asbgedsbef479and aesthetics like RGB. Realistically most of the time though other then RGB you won't really notice a difference under most use cases so don't stress to much about which brand of a GPU you get.
Would an RX 7600xt be a good upgrade from a GTX 1050 (laptop) ? And what CPU can I pair it with (other options maybe, NO Intel) ???
I'm building mine
Ryzen 5 5600x
Gigabyte Radeon 7600 XT
The 5600X is a very solid choice for gaming, I have it in another build with a 6600 XT, and it performs lol
I still play most games at 1080p. Playing at anything higher is just a waste of recourses
4k res ye probably. 1440p nah
@@clave2049 It's still a waste.
@@marvlouslie2053 eh 1440p is better. guess it comes down to preference or budget
1080p will always be king
It kind of matters what display size you use. In my 27 inch, I prefer 1440p as things are much nicer to look and I feel it is easier on my eyes.
Apparently WD SSD are doing monthly sales now..... how true or beneficial that will be, I don't know.
Is 7600 xt worth 360€ or should I buy 7600 which is 300€? Or is there any better ones for the maximum price of 350?
Are you able to take rgb off the graphics card
12gb of vram is solidly futureproofed at 1080p. The vram demand at 1080p is 2.5-3GB less than it is in 1440p in the most vram hungry titles where the amount of vram you have will come into play. So if your contemplating how much vram is futureproofed at 1080p, 12GB is all you really need. I just got a 4070 super to play at 1080p (paired with a 7600x). Look forward to gaming on that rig for the next 3-4 years or so.
Hard to say.. im Playing games on 2k Rez. All set to max or high.. everything is on quality. With 7600xt.. and some games are utilizing 14-15gigs of vram.... I had 8gs previous... And games . On these settings.. lagged so bad
but still, if i want to record the gameplay of re4 remake or the new silent hill 2 remake in 50fps an in 1080p it is still better to have 16gb right? so the 7600 xt wins. Or do you have an alternative?
i love mine and i dont see a difference with the 128bit rate in gaming runs all of my games 1440p ultra
ryzen 7 5800x 81gb ram 1tb ssd 850w enermax psu plays everything i throw at it
I have a 16gb GPU but mine is the RTX 4060ti which I paid £420 as an upgrade from a 12gb 3060 and boy what a difference. Great video by the way Marcus. Keep up the good work.
Not much difference😂
There is no difference
@@gockartzz8272 30 series to 40 series means frame generation for cyberpunk and hogwarts.
Got the rx 7600 for 180 on a combo deal for my son. great gpu for that price. msrp for it and the rx 7600 xt are too high. rx 7600 should sell for 230 max and the 7600xt for 280. they're entry level gpus in 2024. amd and nvidia acting like there is still a pandemic.
I like the video, but not the bar at the top and bottom.
i got a used rx 7600 for 223.14 the extra price for the xt is just not worth it to me its like 350 quid or something if im not mistaken you can get a 7700xt for that price nearly well its not much more like an extra 50 quid for the 7700xt
How much is the build
AMD or Nvidia gpu for streaming to kick/youtube?
nvidia all the way with the Ray tracing
amd has better av1 encoder
Not sure if it makes that big of a difference with RX 7600 or 7600 XT
I'm thinking of a budget build of maybe 1 500€ with the Ryzen 5 7600x CPU and the ASRock Steel Legend RX 7600 8GB GPU
Sure I'd be happy to get ideas if there are other and better opinions for a 1080p gaming build
The VRAM could get you more on the long run or if you like to switch over to 1440p. The XT is despite being aimed at 1080p quite capable for many games at 1440p.
Maybe exchange the r5 7600x with a non x 7600. Cost less is way more efficient and is as fast as the x version
With that budget you could probably look at gpu's 6800xt,7800xt or possibly a 6900/6950xt if you wanted an amd gpu. 4070/super for nvidia
At this point I disagree to have 16GB of memory ram. I believe 32GB should be a way to go. Windows itself for me taking around 7-8GB. I watching You now and something else on second monitor and ram usage nearly 9GB. Very nice build anyway.
Watching a 4k YT video doesn't change my Ram usage at all from doing nothing. Allocation doesn't mean the allocation is actually being used.
Im not sure what AMD was thinking pricing this thing at OVER $300, even close to $400.
thats the thing with amd
its that their strategy has always been price cuts
expect it to be around 260 in a few months
Hi there, I wonder if someone could assist me. I am in the process of purchasing the Ryzen 7 7800x3d with the Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX. Now comes the issue with RAM. It’s kinda difficult to find EXPO rated kits in my country and mainly have XMP ram kits. If I were to purchase an XMP RAM kit DDR5 32gb. Will it cause any issues with the computer and performance?
very low chance of there being issues
XMP ram doesn’t work (or doesn’t work well) on AMD expo boards or causes stability issues with 7000 series.
Get expo ram for that cpu
@@christinaedwards5084 its not true
@@agab3asbgedsbef479 it is true, some am5 motherboards are very picky.
Either the performance is not that good but the 16 gigs of Vram will good for future proof
does this gpu compatible with tuf x570 motherboard?
yes it does support
The vram is to future proof it. Gamers at this price range typically keep their cards for 4-5 years they are not big spenders. The 16gb vram is much appreciated at least AMD did not screw around like NVIDIA did with the 4060 and 4060ti. So credit where credit is due.
The VRAM is actually for coming AI software enhancements. Give it a year and this card is going to be fire.
So rx 6700xt 12gb is better than this?(im new to this)
I guess so
Talking about saving as much money as possible but going for a B760 DDR5 board😭😭😭
Id much rather get the 6750xt, good price atleast in my country.
Im still out here with 4gb of v ram at 1080p 80 fps
I'm not sure that the 7600 has enough horse power to make use of 16gb ram.
In UK you can find 6700xt £10 cheaper than the 7600xt. Other than AV1 encoding, no-one sane should be buying 7600xt. Especially if you're buying on the budget. The extra vram is wasteful with the same memory bandwidth as 7600.
Never know what the future holds 8GB VRAM not enough anymore who knows when 12GB is next maybe 7600 xt is more future proof for coming titles
No bottle neck?
So basically if you WANT an AMD card and want 16gb of VRAM for the same price as this GPU and much higher speed, get an RX 6800.
Unless it is being used for some sort of AI workload, 16GB makes no sense. There is a lot of talk around direct storage in games so maybe in a year or two having 16GB reduces direct storage freezing but that's pure speculation
Amd puts too much vram in cards that can’t utilize it. Nvidia doesn’t put in enough in higher end cards. Competition lol
It's a 4060 with 16 GB of VRAM.
Just upgraded from a 5800x3d with a 3060 to a 14900k with a 7900xtx 😁
damn you went from ryzen and rtx to intel core and radeon lol
16GB is worth it but not for this GPU. This GPU doesn't need that much because after all it's a 1080p GPU and you don't need 16GB for 1080p. 16GB is worth it for cards like RX 6800 or more powerful ones. They can utilize that much for 1440p maybe even 4K with lower settings.
Take a shot everytime you read 6700xt in the comments. 😊
Seems stupid to give the 7600 XT 16GB and not 12 or 10GB when the 7700 XT has 12GB 10-12GB would be perfect for the card aswell as 4060 TI and 16GB for the 4070
i have a ryzen 9 5900x is this gpu worth it
Rx 6650 xt 140 eur less in spain, 6750xt 20 eur less...
can this card beat rx 6750xt ?
No
@@TB-vy3klrx 6750xt is powerful than this card?
this gpu is good in Pubg because 70% pubg grinders is on 1080p resolution xd
BRO RTX 4060TI 16GB OR RX 7600 XT FOR 1440P
4060 Ti is more powerful because it is in a different price range
Considering the fact that a 4060ti 16GB costs $500, you would be better off getting a 7800XT for $500 or paying $550 for a 4070.
4060ti 8gb is better price to performance wise than 4060ti 16gb for gaming
but 6700 xt is better than both
For 7600XT price (360€) not worth. Just ordered RX 6700 10gb for 290€ brand new. And 6700 is littlebit faster
Forgot to mention that you were banging over 14gb of RAM on Returnal. Sooooo 32gb is most definitely worth the small premium. 16gb isn’t going to be enough for very much longer.
I would go for 32GB of RAM on a mid range system and above, but this was meant to be a budget system.... Then we found out the price of the TUF GPU🫢
Unless you are doing AI workloads or cryptocurrency it would be dumb to buy this GPU.
For $40 more you can buy a 4060 TI and get 25% more performance.
Its sad that my AMD 7900 XTX cost more than this entire build.
ok? what we gonna do about it?
@@Aloud066vote with our wallets and don't buy it? Not much else.
While this may be a 1080p card, no reason why you can’t use this at 1440p for a lot of them. Fortnite seems like a good use case.
the thing with these new amd cards especially rx 7000 is that in singleplayer AAA games they will last an unimaginably long time due to fsr 3 and afmf
its gonna last much longer than the gtx 1060 did
or i guess in the rx 7600xt’s case its more like a rx 580 due to doubled vram
@@agab3asbgedsbef479 Depends. Optimization may not be as well done though if devs rely on upscaling too much. We shall see!
I'm not usually one to complain about pricing or performance because the only permanent damage is done to the company that engineered it.
But to not add ANY extra compute units to the 7600XT over the 7600 is ridiculous.
7600 = 32 CU's.
Even just 36 CU's with the clock increase and the double VRAM would've at least given noticeable separation between the two SKU's... 🤦♂️

Same price as 6700 XT but less performance
Hi
Ray Tracing is NEVER worth the performance hit to me on any GPU I'm willing to pay for.
Starfield is just a 9 year old unoptimized game that is somehow worse than fallout 4 so I think the starfield benchmark is bound to be really bad or any midrange cards. Alan wake 2 however is one of the most punishing game that is actually optimized (somewhat) to test GPUs so I think that's the lowest the rx 7600 xt will do, that and robocop or any other unreal engine 5 games.
frissy
7600xt with 16 GB but without 256bit memory bus is just scummy. Do better AMD.
that would require 0.5gb gddr chips which i dont think they make for gddr6
with 128 bit they use 1gb chips instead
