A Man’s Risky Journey to Explore Soviet-Era Space Shuttle

  • An abandoned space shuttle site from the Soviet-era draws many urban explorers, even though it’s off limits to the public. Chris Luckhardt of Toronto is one person who risked getting caught by the Russian military to explore the decaying buildings and spacecraft that were left behind. He photographed his experience in detail and says he can only hope something will be done to preserve the site for space enthusiasts such as himself.

Hi, I'm the Canadian guy in the interview - ask me anything!
This footage is from my 2nd trip to the complex in the winter of 2022/23. My first trip was in the fall of 2019. One mistake in the editing - we crawled through the first floor window during the 2019 adventure, but had to do a huge 30ft climb into the building's upper floors for the footage featured here.
And I'm seeing a lot of commentary about Bald and Bankrupt. He went in the summer of 2022 because he learned from watch my first video and others before me.
