Hate crimes against North East Indians have become so common, especially in North of India. Common enimosity keeps happening between South and North India. Why wait for war from an outsider for us to be united. Why can't there be peace and love as just Indians? Also, most of the time, the war between India and Pakistan is because of the leaders of the country. They don't want it to end. They have been making the general public fools for years. I am from Assam and yet felt you had no real delhi experience with whatever time you had there. Please come back to Delhi once more to experience it's history, food and all the amazing things it has to offer.

This does not happen with any of our other neighbouring countries either. Not even with China, bangladesh, myanmar, nepal, bhutan, srilanka, afghanistan.
It happens with pakistan because of indigestible history that we have with pakistan. Our elders fought for united indian subcontinent but was not fruitful ultimately and we ended up with a separate country for a section of muslims called as pakistan. What happens in attari-wagah is a ideological war.

The crowd and patriotic music and the huge enthusiasm is such a spectacle, the last time I visited the whole stadium was filled up, but I didn't see much enthusiasm and crowd here maybe because of the ongoing epidemic.... I'm sure if it was under better circumstances you'd have had a lifetime of memory there .....

Ive visited wagah 3-4 times now. And my favourite moment is after all fun and games of playful mocking and competition when hold each others hands and get the flags down. And it made me so happy to see that people cheered when you guys were there. Im not kidding, there are some people who wished death upon the Pakistani side. Its not surprise considering the relatively recent past.
Actually we even had the chance of speaking to the dude who is responsible for taking down the Indian flag in that circle. And he told us that he knew the other guys so well and they spoke punjabi like he did and it brings tears to his eyes when people of pakistan, civilians, suffer so much for the acts of the terrorists who reside there or the govt orchestrated attacks.
And it was such a beautiful thing to see that we are the same people, if not for politicians on both sides at that time, we would be sitting on the same side of the gate.

@@AKIYIKO I don't have to begin to try to explain the difficulties of keeping up with different time zones, uploading stuff at that time like clockwork every week, editing things at light speed and reacting to things before the break of dawn so that we get those reactions. I also don't have to explain that they could just stop at trailer reactions and not be bothered to watch many films. They could also just watch stuff, earn from the ads on their videos and patreon, and not actually make the trip to india during this time when stuff is going on all around the world. The fact that they take the time, money, and effort to learn so much is much more than you seem to be able to comprehend. You try editing a single video. Try. Try learning more about another country. They could stop and it'd be okay for them.but they still continue to react and learn. Not because of the fans. But because they want to. Who are you to judge them for that? They don't get enough money. Rick's an uber driver and korbin gets roles not nearly as much as he should. They're normal people and the price of living is completely different there. No matter how much we pay, it won't be enough if not enough people are paying. Their patreon prices are cheap by the standard of living there but they're expensive in india. No one but the economy can be blamed for that. I'll tell you 5$ you couldn't get much more than a pack of bread and some milk off 5$ off 360 rupees here? You can get a full meal three times a day for a couple days if you plan right. That's the difference. They aren't gaining nearly as much as you think. And they just spent it to come to india. They started their patreon for that.

The gate closing used to be way funnier when they had swivel gates. They would clang and reopen after bouncing, many times. :)
For anyone going there in the future, there are 2 places in the way you must stop at.
One is a tank/temple complex build in the time of Maharaj Ranjeet Singh. It is not a super imposing structure but amazingly peaceful. The border fence comes with ~100 meters of the site. If you are lucky enough to visit when there are very few people around, the temple caretaker may open the doors. Unlike other older historical sites, the paintings on the inside wall are still visible in some spots.
The second (there may be more now, I haven't been there in ages) is a roadside restaurant where you can actually eat some authentic Pakistani food. With no open travel, this is the closest you can get to the real thing.
