Today we're making a Ring out of solid diamonds. This ring combines Astro Tech epoxy resin with diamond dust. The ring starts by making a mold. Patrick uses a lathe to shave a brass rod into a ring shape. This is then used with mold making medium to create a mold. The resin is then poured into the mold. This creates the first shape of our ring. The ring is then filled with Diamonds and Astro Tech CA adhesive to finish the shape. Then the ring is finished by sanding and finalizing the shape.

Would love to see more nature material rings, wood, steel, stones. I know they are more time consuming, but make great videos and educational as well (explaining difficulties you had and how you overcame them). Some Acid etching is nice too! Love the content ! :)
@Von Musklaus yeah but iron is very susceptible to oxidizing. Steel may not be natural but, who wants to do PMCS on a ring.

Literally a diamond ring. I've caught jewelry making video & been hooked ever since
I do nails and use UV/LED gel all the time. You could use a nail art brush to apply the UV gel to your rings with a lot more accuracy and less mess on the lip of the inlay section on the ring. You could also mix the powder with a small amount of the gel and apply it that way, you also could have created a really cool marble effect using this method as well. When I make jewelry I end up using techniques I use for doing nails quite a bit. Just thought you would like the input, love the ring!!!
I'm not entirely sure if this will make sense, but, do you think there would be a way to make a resin ring with either like dyed water on the inside of it, or some other kinda of dyed liquid on the inside? Almost like a lava lamp ring, but with moving liquid trapped in resin?
I've been trying to brainstorm a way to do that and I haven't been super successful. I think it would be awesome but really fragile.
I'd love to give it a try!

This is a really good idea for rich men's wedding rings instead of the plain and boring wedding bands made as though men can't appreciate a jewelry's beauty!
Next you should make a spinner ring with a crushed gemstone or a marble inlay and two different materials one a metal part and the other part made out of resin with glow pigment!

The refraction index of the diamond is completely destroyed by embedding it into epoxy though. They've completely lost their glitter.
