- Back for another season of Mountain Biking! I'm stoked to be back on my 2023 Norco Sight. I am really looking forward to getting to know this bike a little better and doing a proper review!

Dang dude, you had me freaked out with some of those drops! Excellent balance and brake control, man. I would not have survived that trail.
Thanks! I have rode that trail many times so I know all the tricky spots!
Good to see you back on the bike man, always enjoyed your content!
Thanks! Happy to be back!
Great to see you back in the saddle, mate! Gorgeous rig! Cheers!
@TYLER NICOL Norco is killing it; my mate just bought a Norco Fluid FS A1. The component spec was top shelf.
Nice, I got a Norco Sight this year too and am loving it so far
Good choice! If I change bikes next year, it will only be for a carbon sight haha. But I will probably stick with Aluminum because it rides great
Love the look of those trails but I’m not sure I’d be riding them solo. Would have liked to have seen some climbing on it.
I have some videos from last year that shows climbing. If you just search for MSM mtb it will be in the first couple of results
Sweet ride, I'm riding the Toronto/Don mostly and the Norco Optic is perfect travel numbers for the region. The Sight looks awesome and you're riding is great.
Agreed! The Optic or the Fluid would be ideal for the Toronto! If I were ever back in Southern Ontario, I would buy one of those bikes in a heartbeat!
I have a 2020 norco sight and a 2023 norco shore 1, love the norcos such sick bikes 👊👊👊 Geo is spot on 👌
Heck yah! I’m loving this bike
Maboc looks nuts! I just bought an entry level mountain bike, and have been exploring the local trail systems (fortune, Kanawe, Larose), and am excited to try the flowy stuff at MSM soon!
Right on! Welcome to the sport!
That’s awesome man! Welcome to MTBing in the east cost my friend. I’m from Montreal so I know all about the trails out here! We’re very lucky to have all these cool trails at our disposal.
Interesting video. I would like to change my old 27.5" but at the moment I'm stuck. I was 100% convinced of the Sentinel Transition, tested on a very rough trail and I managed to use it 110% as if it were the first time. I tried the aluminum version with Gx size L. Now the Norco Sight has come out and has an identical suspension system with slightly different geometries. What worries me is not having the opportunity to try it and on paper I should get an XL which has a greater reach than the Sentinel and by much also. Can you give me an opinion?
Really like the color, nice bike. I ended up getting an Enduro exert last fall.
Also a nice bike! I would definitely ride one of those too
I’ve got 21 sight and I agree with the ride align system
It’s been great! I lost a little bit of weight over the winter so my numbers were all different. But, the bike felt the same with the new pressures
@@GoodTrails always good to lose weight 🤙🏼
Good bike, good build.
Agreed!
Hi, may i ask, did you feel any serious hardening/harshness of the rear suspension around mid-stroke during fast consecutive impacts (which is described in reviews for the 2020 models), like when you were going blasting through the rocks or roots?
thx and cheers from austria
No, it’s not harsh but it ramps up a lot around the mid point in the stoke. If my rebound is set properly, it’s no problem
Nice riding! What size/height are you? Also, alloy or carbon version? Thanks
I’m on a large, and I am 5’10. I’m on the aluminum and have no problems with weight or ride feel. I love the bike
Good shred dude! It's pretty crazy how good that Sight feels eh?!
Thanks dude! The Sight is super comfortable and balanced. I wonder how they will improve the next model…
@@GoodTrails Good to hear. I just got a Sight A1. I've only ridden twice, feels great on roll downs but repeated drops have felt like the front end is a bit too fwd.....ok, I've been working on being more centered/fwd on the bike as I'm still learning...also, my old bike was quite a bit smaller. After your great vid, leads me to believe I just gotta get better with my skills/body positioning.
@@edf.goeders7020 yeah you get used the front end being further our. You need to get on the front end a bit more
Hi there, nice riding! Your bike seems pretty quiet. Did you do anything special to the rear triangle? I ride A1 and I get quite a bit of chainslap, even with the STFU
No, it was just new. It’s loud af now lol.
Otherwise, the bike is mint tho
Lol, the same with mine. But I’m determined to make it silent!
@@kolikjun good luck. Winter is coming and there will be plenty of time for maintenance
How are your hands doing i found my cure with my bad hand pain. Vorsprung smashpot coil kit paired with rev grips did the trick
It’s still to early to say. My arm pump issue is at it’s worst when I hit small bumps or chatter on high speed trails. A washboarded flow trail is worst case scenario. I haven’t rode anything like that this year. But, I can say that having a bigger bike, with nicer suspension, and most importantly - good brakes - have all added up and my arms are getting much less tired.
Rev grips look like an interesting product. I would consider trying that if my problem persists.
@@GoodTrails the braking bumps and trail chatter would kill my hands last year and tech trails. I highly suggest the smashpot coil kit it’s a lil expensive but man it was worth everything penny I spent on it I went to mountain creek did around 6-7 laps of flow and tech trails and my hands stayed fresh all day last year my hands would’ve been cramping up and hurting by lap 4-5. Did a like 12-13 laps of flow and tech at powder ridge bike park and same thing hands stayed fresh. Check back with me if you can.
I bought revgrips a couple of years ago for my fully rigid fatbike and it made a big difference. I was putting them on my mtn bike too, for summer, and it help a bit. Then I put a z1 coil (new custom bike so was looking for a cheap take off fork to put a vorsprung coil kit in but found nothing) and no more nothingggg, and I dont even use the revgrips during summer now!! You already have a fork so just put a vorsprung kit in it (I think you can also buy a marzo z1 coil kit)!!
More powerful brakes also helps a loottt, like you said.
How much does the bike weigh?
Do you have the 27.5 tires or 29?
29!
@@GoodTrails Just ordered this bike after watching this video for the 10th time haha! Cant wait to try it out!
IS THIS A 29'R OR A 27.5
It’s 29
