I’d say, no, don’t make a bench out of the bed. It’s really pretty and looks to be in good condition. I saw a similar bed in a magazine that was painted a bright Kelly green and it looked so cool!

The Park City area is vey pretty. I have been there three or four times while visiting family in Salt Lake.
Love it all! Just went thrifting today...thought of you guys when I walked by a pottery "flattish" bowl with a base that was not my colours. Then stopped, backed er up and said to myself..."wait a minute...what would Zeb and Jami do?" So I brought it home with me and it's just waiting for some paint and wax. In it's new life it is going to be a bird bath for my new rock garden! Woo hoo...thanks for being there with me. 😉😆

I’m pretty sure my mom had a gold clock like that when I was a little girl. Hers was gold and if I remember correctly it had chains that draped from the clock over to matching matching sconces on each side.

If you leave it as a bed, you will definitely have to paint it. At least around here, no one is buying old unpainted beds. Maybe your area is different. Speaking of your area, gorgeous views on that thrifting trip!

I’m still in awe at the scenery on your drive and what a pretty dresser. NO to the bench unless they sell really good for you. What else do people do with old head and foot boards? What about cutting the legs down and placing a boards across for a shelf or hooks for a wall coat rack. Some stenciling or transfers. 🤷♀️
