I thought this piece was ruined - stripping & restoring furniture - thrift flips for reselling

- We’ll that was a surprise. I stripped this wood nightstand and found out I was totally wrong. But it’s okay we recovered and made it cute. We also finished a bunch of other neutral home decor thrift flips with white paint.

I love the moldings on that pedestal table. I don’t think it matters if they are plastic. I add resin molds to furniture

When you used little black dress mixed with a little liquid patina was that to help give it some sealer properties? Also, what color is that painted on the front of your checkout counter?! I’m obsessed but I know cameras and screens give diff shades and tones of what it really looks like in person. It reminds me of if you added a little white to aviary almost
Our counter is sweetie Jane mixed with pantry door milk paint. And I added the black to the sealer just to tint the sealer so it was dark and not cloudy. Sometimes sealers can look cloudy on dark colors. So I tint the sealer and it works beautifully. Just a little paint.

Just and FYI, sometimes it's a little harder to hear you when you are in the shop. Can you bring your microphones by any chance?
They don’t work with our phones. Just the big camera. I ordered some mics to work with the phones but they are horrible. I am gonna keep looking for good wireless mics they work with iPhones
