  • Day one the scooter developed some issues and massive gap which makes it quite dangerous. I've also noticed some screws started coming off. Looks like the QC is not as good as it should be and it was missed at some point.

    There's a nut under the folding mechanism, you'll need to put the scooter on a stand or lay it down, loosen the nut slightly and use some loctite on the thread, then tighten the nut back up
    You can also remove the stud in the folding mechanism and swap it for a M6 110mm bolt, washer and a locking nut, this will make it solid. Only thing is, is that you won't be able to fold it

    I had this scooter for a day and sent it back. It was my first scooter. I ended up having to dispute the charges after sending it back. They promised a refund too and just went silent after receiving the return.. I ended up getting a Kaabo Wolf King GT and quality is excellent. Sorry you had to go through this. You get what you pay for with these Chinese made electronic products.

    If i had your issue I'd figure out a way to drill a hole straight through the latching mechanism and put a bolt through the whole thing to lock it down. don't be too attached to the mentality that this is a foldable/portable scooter. a hundred pound scooter is not something you want to get into a truck by yourself and besides it has enough mileage to leave the car at home also, so you get me. high powered scooters shouldn't fold IMO, folding is more for sub-3000W and last mile scooters that aren't so heavy. I'd like to see the high power scooter manufactures do away with the hinge altogether.

    This is normal you need to open the screws and then oil all stare parts of the folding mechanism.

      I've checked and tighten all parts and there were few loose. Also I've put apart the rear suspension and there was missing washer. Use some grease and make sure all nice and tidy and the sound should stop. Can't tell for sure as it's winter here and can't test the scooter, but there is noticeable difference. Good luck!

    After 1600 miles, my TI30 is also losing power… like after braking it feels like the back motor thinks the brake is still on and will not go… clicking on both brakes a few times sometimes gets things going again

      @johnjohnson999  Před 2 lety

      @@johnjohnson999 It turns out that when I replaced the back tire with a new tire, I also created a short somewhere and the battery compartment . ELV motors Service Diagnosed the problem, fixed the shorts, and we bypassed the automatic .braking system of the Laotie Scooter. That’s system will automatically stop the motors if the brakes are applied. It is a safety feature, but really not needed for people that have done a lot of riding , And it can cause problems when you are going fast and you tap a brake….
      So that system Is now bypassed , And the scooter works great again

    it looks like your laotie has been through some very bad roads or even trails.
    I think you should buy new parts to fix this at least they are cheap.
