The fact that Floyd fought Maidana's fight and still won (even though by a narrow margin) shows how great a fighter he is. I bet you though, if there's a rematch floyd won't just stay on the ropes trading punches. Expect floyd to do a lot of moving around and putting on a clinic.

Mayweather vs Maidana 1 was still one of my favorite fights to watch because Floyd fought in the inside. When you know all Floyd had to do is fight in the outside like he did in the second fight. So it was a good fight that Floyd won.

However, Mayweather already had control of the fight. By not fighting on the inside like the first fight. But yes you're right. Maybe this time Maidana had a different plan but I feel like he didn't try to close the gap as often as the 1st. But then again Mayweather chose to fight in the inside.
@@darrylflinch5274 I think Mayweather was forced to fight on the inside in the first fight due to Maidanas strength, relentlessness and hunger. Mayweather also wanted to test him out and see what he's got, was a brilliant strategy and showed mayweather had dog in him to slug it out with Maidana. But he didn't realise how tough Chino was and made necessary adjustments to get the win.
